Obituary: Charles L. Mallett, 48, of Manchester died peacefully 24, 2006 at his home after a long illness. Born in Cornwall, NY on 29, 1957, he was the son of Hugh C. and Ruth (Belanger) Mallett. He was a graduate of Central High School in 1976 and lived in Manchester most of his life. For the past eight years he worked as a Senior Project Manager Consultant for Electronic Data Systems. He worked for 30 years in the Information Technology industry. He enjoyed boating on Lake Winnepesaukee, hiking and camping in the White Mountains, traveling, music and time spent with his family and friends. The family includes his wife of 25 years, Karen M. Obituary: Leodoer J. Mallet, 85, of Bedford, NH died peacefully May 25, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born in Athol, MA 29, 1925 to Edmond and Helen (Hebert) Mallet. He lived in Canada for a time and returned to Athol, MA where he lived for several years. He later lived in Keene, NH for 50 years before moving to Bedford in 2002. He served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Mallet was a retired barber and owned and operated Campus Barber Shop in Keene for many years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford. He loved being a barber and many of his customers became lifelong friends. He also loved music, dancing, playing the jews harp and was a car enthusiast. He especially loved his family and will be dearly missed. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Lucy (Helie) Mallet of Bedford; two daughters, Debra J. Mahoney and her husband, Brian Mahoney D.M.D, of Bedford and Lisa Ann Mallet of Hooksett; his grandchildren, Justin Ethier, Lindsay Laplume, Olya, Alyana, and Rosa Mahoney; his step grandchildren, Sarah and Emily Mahoney; his great grandchildren, Aedina Ethier, Benjamin Laplume, Isabelle Laplume and Aubrey Ethier; a brother, Donald Mallet and his wife Lorraine of Orange, MA; two sisters, Hedwidge Hedy Brault and her husband Jean and Virginia Gleba, all of Athol, MA; nieces and nephews. Obituary: Tamra J. (Horne-Bellemore) Malkin, 54, of Ellington, CT died on 14, 2014 after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manchester, NH on 9, 1960, she was the daughter of Richard and Roberta (Lecuyer) Horne, Sr. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester West High School in 1979. She earned her nursing degree from Catholic Medical School in 1982. Tami had worked as a surgical nurse (RNFA) with Catholic Medical for 32 years. She enjoyed spending summers on Lake Winnipesauke, playing serious games of Scrabble and Dominos with her husband Neil and quilting in her recent years. Those who knew Tami will cherish her strong will and her kind heart. She was a caregiver and would always put others before herself. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She leaves behind her loving husband of four years, Dr. Neil Malkin of Ellington, CT; her father Richard Horne, Sr. of Manchester; two sons, Nicholas Bellemore and fiancé Ashley Dingle of Bedford, and Thomas Bellemore and wife Leah of Manchester; a granddaughter, Layla Bellemore of Manchester; four sisters, Melanie Huberty and husband Jeff of Bedford, Jennifer Perdue and husband Chris of Manchester, Mary Beth Soterion and husband Kevin of Bedford, and Angela Makin and husband Karl of Manchester; two brothers, Richard Horne, Jr. and wife Carlene of Bedford, and Timothy Horne and wife Laurie of Bedford; her mother and father-in-law, Dr. & Mrs. Meyer Malkin of Rockville, CT; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; and too many close friends to mention. Obituary: Joseph A. Maliska, Jr., 53, a life-long resident of Keene, NH, passed away at the Cheshire Medical , Keene, NH on , 7, 2016, following a strong and courageous battle with cancer. He was born 25, 1963, in Keene, NH the son of Joseph A. and Joyce A. (Durant) Maliska, Sr. He was a 1982 graduate of Keene High School. Joe began working with his dad and his brothers in the family drywall business when he was a teenager. He was well known and respected in his field. He enjoyed his work and he loved working with his partner and brother Bill. When he wasn working, he enjoyed fishing. Whether it was in a lake or pond, or ice fishing in the winter: there was a special connection for him to be out in nature. He was a big Red Sox fan, and he rarely missed a game. Humor was something that he brought to every person that he met: although he knew when to be serious, he loved to make people smile. He was a quiet man and he enjoyed the simple things in life. Above all he cherished family. His greatest joy in life were his children and he was devoted to them: he taught them the values of friendship, compassion, hard-work and above all loving with your whole heart. He is survived by two daughters: Mariah Maliska of St. Petersburg, FL and Tori Maliska of Clearwater, FL, his son: Cameron Maliska of Keene, NH, two sisters: Darlene Smith and her husband Bart of Swanzey, NH and Phyllis Maliska of Keene, NH, two brothers: Anthony Maliska and William Maliska, both of Keene, NH, his sister-in-law: Pamela Maliska of Keene and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Obituary: Francis Frank Malik, 75, of Manchester died 9, 2011 at the Hackett Hill care after a lengthy illness. He was born in Manchester on 12, 1935, the son of the late Frank and Stephanie (Dominick) Malik. A lifelong resident of the Queen City, he was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1953 as a three sport athlete in football, basketball and baseball. Upon graduation, he enrolled at Tilton Prep School as a post-graduate. He again was a tri-athlete. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Anselm . He then went on to serve his country in the Army as a Special Services Fitness and Athletic Director at Fort Sam Houston, TX and also in France. He was also a liaison with the French population in developing sports programs. He began a teaching and coaching career in 1962 at Memorial and Central High Schools, teaching health and physical fitness. Always dedicated to his profession, he served as a successful assistant football coach for eleven years at Memorial and also served as assistant basketball coach for four years and assistant baseball coach for two years. In 1965 he became assistant basketball coach at Central thru 1970. In 1994 Coach Malik returned to Memorial as an assistant football coach. He retired from coaching and teaching in 2006. In 1999 he was inducted into the Tilton School Athletic Hall of Fame for his many years of devoted service to the youth of Manchester and surrounding communities. In 2007 Coach Malik was also inducted into the Queen City Hall of Fame. He was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church. He had been actively involved in many youth sports programs such as Pop Warner Football, Little League and Babe Ruth baseball, but above all else cherished his family as a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Helena R. (Louis) Malik of Manchester; a daughter, Lisa A. Meisel of Manchester and three grandsons, James W. Malik, Anthony F. Malik and Christopher M. Malik, all of Manchester. Calling hours were on from 3 to 7 PM in the McHugh , 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on at 11 AM in St. Hedwig Church, corner of Orange and Beech Sts.
