Obituary: Martha Monte Morgan of El Dorado, Arkansas, died , 14, 2017. She was born 11, 1927, in Banks, Arkansas to the late Wesley Jackson and Reba Jackson. She was married to Orie Felton Morgan on 13, 1945 and celebrated 70 years of marriage before laying him to rest on 22, 2016. Monte or Mama Tee as she was known to family, was a woman of faith, service to community, dedication to work, and love of family. She served her God throughout her life: as Membership Chairman for the Womens Missionary Board, as Spiritual Life and Program Committee member, as President for the local Christian Womens club for a number of years, as Historian, Secretary, Treasurer, Program Chairman, Finance Chairman, Benevelance Chairman and School Teacher for the First Church of God. She held school class at a local nursing home for 2 years, served as Vacation Bible School Director for a number of years, was School Superintendent, in the church choir, and always was the first to offer up games and activities for all church events as the Program Chairman for Entertainment. She served her community with a life-long commitment. She was the Union Chairman for the American Cancer Society, was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, active in the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary, and served on the local YWCA board of directors. She worked her business with exemplary dedication. She opened a Tupperware business when Earl Tupper was still running the company and the famous Tupperware party was just 5 years old. She was honored by the billion dollar company before an audience of thousands for being one of the longest serving Tupperware leaders in the country. She earned the title of Tupperware Manager and held it for 46 years earning 22 Vans in the process. She loved her family with all the strength and focus any family could ask for. She served as PTA President several times while raising her daughters, was Room Mother for all of them, never missed a grandchild event she could physically attend, and was the host of more family reunions and holiday events than anyone could count. She loved to write, to sing, to be around family and to serve her God. Whether she was singing gospel music, serving on the PTA, holding Tupperware parties, hosting family reunions, raising money for charity, being Mama Tee to 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, or leading church committees, Monte Morgan gave us the example of living with faith, discipline, courage, focus and grace. She lived well, served well, and leaves us all well. Monte Morgan is survived by her daughters Gail Morgan Robinson, Theresa Morgan Meldrum and husband John, Sharon Morgan Tahaney and Martha Angelena Morgan, her brother Bobby Damon Jackson and wife Sue. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Randy & Cheryl Evans, Stephanie Vetrano, Jennifer Meldrum Varnadore and husband, Rodney, Katharine Meldrum Knicely and husband, Josh, Diana Meldrum Hunter and husband, Orie, and Adam Tahaney. She is survived by her great grandchildren Shelby, Tristan and Liam Evans, Laura Vetrano Gillum and Katherine Vetrano, Ethan and Cooper Varnadore, and Gray Knicely, William and Annlyn Hunter, Brayden Normandin, and Adam, Ayla and Mitchell Tahaney, and her numerous nieces and nephews, including Randal Howard and wife Cathleen, Debbie Morrison and husband, Jeff, Damon Jackson, Jodi Jackson, and Jennifer Stowe and husband, Casey along with cherished great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Reba Jackson, her husband, Orie Felton Morgan, her sister Elizabeth Ann Howard, her son-in-law Ken Robinson and her grandson Patrick Mitchell Tahaney. She was given loving care by her beloved caregiver, Connie Rodgers for the last few years of her life. She was also loved and cared for by the dedicated service of Debbye Crain. Their dedication along with the watchful night-time care of daughter Ange Morgan enabled her to remain at home to live out her life. The viewing will be at Youngs , , 16, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the First Church of God, 918 Mosby, El Dorado, Arkansas, on , 17, at 10:30 a.m. The Burial Service and Interment will be at Williams in Banks, Arkansas, at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Young's Directors.
