Obituary: Stephen Andrew Moyer, of Plymouth formerly of North Attleboro, died suddenly on 17th at the age of 32. He is survived by his parents Larry and Bernadette (Burgmyer) of Plymouth, he was the brother of Daniel Moyer of La Jolla, CA: Dorothy Moyer-Hoffman of Hanover, Brian Moyer of Plymouth, Michael Moyer of S. Boston and Daryl Moyer of Plymouth. He also leaves his grandmother Maria Moyer of Hingham and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephen was born in Attleboro and moved to Plymouth in 1986. He graduated from Plymouth South High School in 1999 where he played football, baseball and basketball. Stephen had enjoyed running lifting weights and playing the guitar. Visiting hours will be held on , 22nd from 4 to 8 PM at the Richard Davis , 619 State Rd (Rte 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). A funeral service will be held on 23rd at the Faith Baptist Church in Osterville, MA at 11:00 AM 251 Osterville-West Barnstable Road 02655. Followed by burial at Hillside in Osterville. Obituary: HINGHAM - Mr. Maynard L. Moyer, 81, of Hingham, formerly of Boxford, beloved husband of Jane (Ritter) Moyer, died , 22, 2016 at South Shore Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Harold and Florence (Hillegas) Moyer. He was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School in East Greenville, PA. Maynard continued his education receiving his bachelors degree from Syracuse University and his masters degree from Babson . An Honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Moyer proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Following his discharge from the Air Force, Maynard embarked on a long and distinguished career with the General Electric , retiring after 40 years of dedicated service. A longtime resident of the Town of Boxford, Maynard was a member of the Congregational Church of Topsfield. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Surviving Maynard in addition to his wife, Jane, are his daughters, Carol Slicklen and her husband, Thomas, of Westborough, MA and Diane Horn and her husband, Martin, of Madison, NJ, his five grandchildren, Kelly and Tyler Slicklen, Martin, Jr., Charlotte and Shane Horn, his brothers, Harold and James Moyer, and his sister, Janice Zeigler. ARRANGEMENTS: His memorial service will be held in the Congregational Church of Topsfield, 9 East Common Street, Topsfield on , 30th at 2 P.M. Visiting hours will be held in the Peterson ODonnell , 167 Maple Street (Rte 62), Danvers on , 29th from 2 to 4 P.M. Burial will be in the Veterans National at Bourne at a later date. Obituary: John W. Moyer, 59, of Milford passed away on 5 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was predeceased by his parents Jerry M. and Eveline I. (Schmidt) Moyer, of Walpole, MA, and his namesake great-grandfather, John Wilson Moyer of Allentown, PA. John graduated in 1973 from Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, VT, and went into the construction trade for many years after, working primarily as a carpenter, but also did stone masonry, roofing, re-modeling, and was always glad to help friends and relatives with their projects. In his younger days, he was an avid motorcyclist and outdoorsman until being disabled in an accident, after which he took up oil painting. He always enjoyed sports, especially football, reading and caring for his dog, which he had many. He was always close to family and friends, and his great sense of humor and heart of gold will be sorely missed. John is survived by a brother, Charles W. Moyer and wife Barbara A. (Leighton) of Milford, MA, sisters Heidi U. Moyer of Norwood, MA, and Monika M. (Moyer) Gomes and husband George of Sandwich, MA., an aunt, Audrey M. (Moyer) Taylor and husband Kim E. of Canyon, TX, nieces and nephews Matthew L. Moyer, Elizabeth A. (Moyer) Smith and husband Joseph J., Jr., Christopher G., Alison M., and Jonathan W. Gomes, and a grand-nephew, Joseph J. Smith III. A memorial service will be held Tues. Feb. 17, 2015 at 5 PM in the Buma Sargeant , 42 Congress Street, Milford, MA.
