Obituary: Rachel Exine McMaster passed away , 25, 2017. She was born in Lavaca on 27, 1932 to the late Charles R. Gann and Letha B. Masterson Gann. She was a member of the Lavaca Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Shirley Carruth and husband Howard and Linda Hernandez and husband J.B. and her sister, Gelene Ray. Obituary: Kenneth Owen McMaster passed away 18, 2010 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 7, 1923 in Knox , Illinois to Pearl Dragoo and Charles H. McMaster. graduation from Yates City, Illinois High School he attended college at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He left college to join the Marines. While stationed in Texas he attended Texas A&M. He served in the South Pacific during World War II. discharge, he attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, the Illinois of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois graduating Tomb & Key in 1949. On 6, 1949 he was united in marriage to Delonace (Sally) Metcalf. In 1950 they moved to Oelwein, Iowa where he opened his optometry practice. He was a member and elder of Christ United Presbyterian Church. He was active in the community serving on the school and hospital boards, he was president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club, he served on the State Board of Optometry Examiners. 40 years of practice in Oelwein, he and Sally retired to Grand Marais, MN where he could spend his time doing his favorite sport-fishing. Due to health problems he and Sally moved to Greenwood, Arkansas in 2006, to be near family. He is survived by his wife, Sally of Greenwood; daughters, Deb Card of Greenwood, Susan Hoven of Waterloo, IA, Jill Dursky of Pella, IA, Peggy Owens of Holland, MI; one son, David of Tamora, IL; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sons-in-law, a niece Karen Swanson of Trivoli, IL, Saki and BC. service will be 10 am , 20, 2010 at McConnell Chapel in Greenwood. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Presbyterian Church or the Sebastian Humane Society. |

She retired from Meadors & Adams Insurance Agency in of 1997. She was a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's class of 1953 and a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls church since 1963. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Matthew “Sonny” Lannie. Millie leaves behind her husband Paul “Bob” McManus, her son Michael and his wife Gail McManus of Dillon, CO, her daughter Vicki and her husband Wally Anger of Little Rock, her sister Anita Miller of Little Rock, her grandchildren Chelsie and Chase (Claudia) McManus, Kristen and Austin Anger, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Millie was an avid Razorback fan, especially basketball, gardening and loved her roses. She loved to travel and go to the beach with her family and friends. She also was a great pinochle player and number one supporter of her grandkids many sports and activities. Obituary: Lorraine R. McManus, 83, of Hot Springs died under the loving care of home hospice surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was born 3rd, 1931 to the late John and Ruby Miller Wensel in Chicago, Illinois. Lorraine was very active in the community and St. John’s Catholic Church, where she was a member; and retired from Montgomery Wards after twenty years of service. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward McManus; son, Michael McManus; and siblings Charlotte, Ruth, Jack, Tom, and Bill Wensel. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Eldridge (Late Ron Austin) of Hot Springs, and Carolyn McManus (Late Dave McGehee) of Berwyn, Illinois; son, Edward McManus, Jr of Chicago, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Karen McManus Pickerill (Chuck); sister, Shirley Paholke of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
