Obituary: Mildred Martin, age 78, of Gravette, AR, passed away 23rd , 2010 in Gravette. She was born May 18th, 1931 in Stinett, Texas to the late William Edward and Lydia Bryan Mizar. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Gravette. She was well known in the community for her volunteer work. She was a volunteer for the First Christian Church, Feed My Sheep, Angel Food Ministries, Meals on Wheels, and Share, and the First Christian Church Breakfast Program. She was a member of the Maysville E-H Club and a Leader in the 4H club. She is survived by 2 sons, Bruce Martin of Baldwin City, KS, Donald Martin, Sr. of Decatur, AR, 1 daughter Deborah Jones of Alexander, AR, 1 sister Eva Norris of Denver City, Texas , 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband JL Martin. service will be held on , 27th at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Gravette. A visitation will be held on evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Callison-Lough in Gravette. Bro. A.P. Vohs will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Benton Memorial Park in Rogers. Memorials may be made to Feed My Sheep. |

He was survived by his daughters Michelle (Josh) Gaston and Melinda Martin-McAfee; grandchildren Darian, Kaitlin, Adrien, Joshua, Zachery, Kirsa, Emma, and Eylan; sisters Nancy Rhodes and Nannette (Bill) Gentry; nieces and nephews. Mike retired after 33 years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a 1971 graduate of Lakeside High School. Mike loved being with his family and his pet dogs. Obituary: Melton Trance Martin was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on 29, 1954 to Melton and Hazel Martin. Trance was called home to be with our Lord on , 24, 2014 in Judsonia. Trance worked in masonry for 39 years. His specialty was fireplaces, steps, and mailboxes. Along with laying brick, rock, and bloc, Trance had a special place in his heart for horses. He is preceded in death by his father, Melton Martin; two brothers, Glenn and Darrell Martin and a sister, Brenda Reed. Trance is survived by his three children, Stacey Martin, Jonathan Corbit, and Bridget Luna; grandchildren, Tyler Martin, James and Brooke Luna; one great-grandchild, Kaydence Martin; his beloved mother, Hazel Martin; eight sisters, Louise Davis, Perry Warden, Elaine Rodgers, Shelia Castro, Darlene Rogers, Veleda Decker, Lisa Gordon and Debbie King; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
