Obituary: Elizabeth Ruby Mansfield, age 81 of Searcy, died , 12, 2016 in Searcy. She was born 28, 1934 in Woodruff , Arkansas to Arlie Clowers and Minnie Williams Clowers. Ruby was well known in the Mobile Sales field. She spent well over 40 years and loved every minute of it. She loved people and wanted to help them if possible. Her greatest love was her family, her home, oil painting, sewing and fishing. She is survived by one son, L. N. Durham and wife, Cora of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter, Virginia Yarbrough and husband Paul of Parsons, Tennessee; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Obituary: Billy Duke Mansell, of Fort Smith, passed away 31, 2017. He was 89 years old. He was born 16, 1927 in Fort Smith. He was the middle son born to Floyd Marcus and Rosie Kouri Mansell. A lifelong resident of Fort Smith, he attended Fort Smith High School, now known as Northside. His Navy service began shortly after the age of 17. Duke played a part in a round of nuclear testing called Operation Crossroads. The U.S. Military endeavor tested the effects on warships at Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. His post military life included a long career of sales, mainly postage meter machines, automated typewriters and full service car washes. Duke was a long time member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member of the Couples School Class. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Faye Johnson Mansell; his four children, Mike (Pam) Mansell of Dallas, Texas, Pam Stouffer of Fort Smith, Dean (Roxanne) Clow of Fort Smith and Duane (Mary) Clow of Atkins, Arkansas; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Wanda Mansell of Magdalena, New Mexico and Jackie Mansell of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Floyd and Larry Mansell. Services will be 10:00am , 8, 2017 in Edwards Chapel, with Sr. Pastor Brad Lewter officiating. Burial, with Navy honors will follow at U.S. National in Fort Smith. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm , 7, 2017 in Edwards Chapel. Services are under the direction of Edwards . Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Couples School Class.
