Obituary: Ruby Louise Maner, 75, of Pottsville, died , 30, 2016, at her home. She was born 14, 1940 in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Birch Field and Gladys Merrill Brown Harris. She was a member of Happy Valley Assembly of God and retired from Auto Zone, after working there for over 20 years. She loved her family – especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Maner; a brother, Orthel Harris; and a sister, Nina Faye Cowan. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lora and Lewis Chuculate of Russellville, and Becky and Ray Jordan of Pottsville; a sister-in-law, Lavetta Crawford of Oklahoma; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Thurman and Georgia Harris, Willie and Camilla Harris, Ray and Helen Harris and Athel Harris, all of Oklahoma; one sister, Edith Sbabo of Russellville; three grandchildren, Brittany and her husband Anthony Nokes, Ashley Chuculate and Heather Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Mattie and Connor Bendt; and a special adopted great-granddaughter, Makensie Lay. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on , 2, 2016, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Scott Garrison and the Rev. Henry Bateman. Burial will be in Phoenix near Dover, under the direction of Shinn Service of Russellville. Active pallbearers will be Gary Chuculate, Larry Chuculate, David McCurrie, Stephen Coffman, Jimmy Cowan and Jessie Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Don Erwin, Jerry England and Don Hogue. The family will receive friends on evening from 5 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 East Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, Arkansas 72802. He was a retired watch maker from Hunts Department Store, member of First United Methodist Church, member of the First United Methodist Church Dart Team for several years and a lifetime member of the D.A.V.
