Obituary: Barbara Jean Herbert Moulton Oct 30, 1925 -Oct 3, 2012 Resident of Windham, Maine passed away peacefully in Portland. Barbara was born in Hartford, CT the daughter of Emma Richardson and Willard Herbert. She graduated Greely High School and worked as an assistant-controller to the Maine Central Railroad Portland station manager. She married George W. Moulton after a brief courtship in 1948. George worked for Minat Corp and the family enjoyed homes on Craigie St., Sonnet Ln and Highland Lake of which they were founding members of Luckson Ski Club in 1955. George Bumps drove the boat for the ski shows and state waterskiing tournaments while Donna and Barbara won numerous Maine St. and New England championships. Many admired Barbs unique talent doing a head stand while on a flying saucer, a task she was unable to do on dry land. Barb enjoyed playing volleyball, bowling, cooking, sewing, knitting and pottery. She was at stay at home mom until she accepted a position with Fairchild Semiconductor wafer fabrication line and soon moved to the ranks of supervisor. Bumps continued work for Minat until his chronic emphysema no longer permitted. A disease he suffered from years before passing away at the young age of 60 shortly after the birth of their first grandson. Barbara continued to work for Fairchild seeing friends and traveled to visit Denise in California and Donna in Connecticut. She took great delight visiting the main building of Fairchild in Sunnyvale to visit with staff she spoke with daily from Portland. Just one of her memorable visits to California, Hawaii, Florida and Connecticut. Loving grandmother to her four grandchildren attending all their life events near and far. Later she moved to Windham enjoying 23 years with her current loving partner David Pluff. enjoyed weekend and holidays traveling with the Road Runners, the Shiners in their luxury RV and snowmobiling Barbara continued to work at Fairchild in the credit union as a teller before retiring. Dave spent all his free time caring for Barbara in her final years as she suffered from the complications of diabetes. He did not miss a day visiting her in the hospital or Cedars. Dave was with her when she passed. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George, brother Earl Herbert , sister Dolly and nephews Don, Tommy, and Stephen. She is survived by her partner David Pluff, daughters Donna Anderson, her husband Arthur, of Bushnell, FL,Denise Levy and her husband Stanley Jr,of Saratoga, CA. Grandsons Aaron and his wife Ingrid of Boulder, CO, Kevin Anderson and fiancé Kimi of Nantucket, MA Granddaughters Rebecca and Shayna Levy. Sisters Eleanor Burton, Ruth Merabito, Nieces and nephews Jane, Joyce, Matthew, Tad, and Linda. Barbara will be deeply missed by her loving partner Dave, her girls and all who was fortunate to know her. She is gone, but never forgotten since she will live in our hearts forever. Obituary: Lewiston- Gerald N. Moulin, 73, of Moulin Lane, Turner, died , 27 at Marshwood Facility after a long illness with his loving family at his side. He was born in New Auburn on 30, 1943, a son of the late George (Noel) and Yvette (Potvin) Moulin. He was educated at St. Louis School and graduated from Edward Little High School class of 1961. He also later graduated from Husson in Bangor in 1970. Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Army Reserve in the Medical Corps as a cook. Gerald married the former Joyce Caron in 1968. several years in Auburn and Bangor they settled in 1974 in Turner on Moulin Lane and they have been there ever since. He was a hardworking man, working for The United States Postal Service, delivering mail in the New Auburn area for several years, finally retiring on City 12 in old Auburn. He also owned the family businesses with his wife Joyce-Moulins Mobile Park for over 40 years, and WedgeWood Crafts since 1988. As co-proprietor of the latter he attended craft shows in the State of Maine from as far north as Fort Kent to as far south as South Berwick. Gerald was an original member of St. Philips Church where he also taught CCD. He was also a member of The Society of Southern Maine Craftsmen. He served on the Board of Appeals for the town of Turner, of which was chairman for several years. He loved the outdoors, working in his garden and on his lawn, in which he took great pride. He also enjoyed chopping and burning wood: you were never cold in his house. Most of all he just enjoyed his family and relaxing with a cold beer. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Joyce Moulin of Turner, his daughter Karen Moulin and her husband Peter Wattles of Walpole, MA, a son Aaron Moulin and his wife Dorothy Deák of Ashland, MA and his two grandchildren, André and Colette Moulin. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Louise Moulin Dorais. The family would like to thank the staff on M-4 at CMMC and the staff at Marshwood Facility for the exceptional care given to Gerald in his last days. Obituary: LEWISTON - Dolores Mottram, 84, of Auburn, died on 31st with her loving family by her side. Dolly was the wife of the late Gerald Mottram for over 59 years. Born in Lewiston, the daughter of John and Julia (King) Hanlon, Dolly attended school in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1952. It was during high school that she met Jerry, and they married in 1953. started their family in 1958 and pursued career opportunities in Keene N.H., Burlington and Middlebury Vermont. In addition to her role as a wonderful mother she was part of team in an early childhood education program in Middlebury. Dolly worked side by side with Jerry on many construction projects as well as operating their two dairy farms in Vermont. Dolly and Jerry retired together in 1979 from their traditional work and returned to their hometown of Auburn where together they enjoyed more leisure time for golfing, dancing, exercising and getting reacquainted with childhood friends. loved to travel and their trips included Alaska, Ireland and numerous country-wide motor home adventures taking in all of our countrys National Parks. Her role as grandmother was most cherished. Dolly loved being part of her grandchildrens lives and although she loved to travel, time spent away from Auburn was always planned to ensure she was always home for holidays, birthdays and the grandchildrens special events. Dolly is survived by Maggie, her faithful and loving Westie, who filled Dolly with love after the loss of Jerry. Dolly leaves behind three daughters and their husbands; Kathy and Ken Sonagere, Carolyn and Andy Titus, Diana and Bob Bernier, all of Auburn. She is survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Sonagere, Kate Sonagere, Nathan Titus, Kelly Bernier and Christie Bernier. She was the sister of Richard Hanlon, of Lisbon, Maine and of the late John Hanlon of Medway, Massachusetts and William Hanlon of a, Maine. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Joshua Titus of Auburn, Maine.
