Obituary: Old Town-Francis L. Butch Morin, 77, died peacefully 17, 2015 at his daughters residence with family by his side. He was born 9, 1938 in Old Town a son of Albert Leo and Bernice Marie (LeBretton) Morin. Butch grew up on French Island and graduated from Old Town High School class of 1956. He was employed at the PCF, the brush handle for a few years, then for the next 30 years he was employed by the Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Elks where he was a Past Exalted Ruler. He enjoyed bowling in the KC League, puttering in his wood working shop, and taking cruises. He enjoyed the outdoors while fishing or duck hunting. He is survived by three children Rebecca Cosenze and her husband Anthony, Chris Morin and his wife Amy Cyr, and Lisa Stilley and her husband Stewart all of Old Town, six grandchildren Christopher Cosenze, Zachary Moeller, Nicholas Moeller, Megan Morin, Devan Morin, and Mya Rouse, and a close friend Betty Collins of Old Town. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Lou in 2007. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM 26, 2015 at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Burial will follow at St. Joseph . Immediately following the committal services at the cemetery, all are invited to return to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Obituary: Eldrick Edward Morin PORTLAND -- Eldrick Edward Morin, 86, of 75 State St., died . He was born in St. John, the son of Frederick and Nellie Pelletier Morin and received his education in Ft. Kent. He married Eleanor (Botto) in 1945 and together they lived in their family home on St. John Street for 55 years before moving to 75 State St. He retired as a crane operator for Bancroft & Martin after 20 years. He was active in family businesses in Portland, which included Grand Trunk Warehouse on India Street and the Rainbow Salad on Commercial Street. He was a member of the Italian Heritage , Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a communicant of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church. During his residency at Seventy Five State Street, he became involved in golf, bowling and volley ball. He was very proud of his involvement with the Civilian Conservation Corps, during the late 1930s and had served with the United States Army during WWII. His wife of 61 years passed away in 2007. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Florence Morin Oakes, Florene Morin St. John and Marilyn Morin Sawyer, and four brothers, Alfred Morin, Leonard Morin, John Morin and Christian Morin. He is survived by two sons, Frederick E. Morin and his wife Joanne of Cape Elizabeth and John L. Morin and his wife Nancy of Mooresville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Nicole Morin and her husband Mike of Portland, Jeff Morin and his wife Tammi of Wisconsin, Matt Morin and his wife Stacey of North Carolina, and Mike Morin and his wife Cheryl of North Carolina; and seven great-grandchildren, Samuel, Madeleine, Alex, Braden, McKenna Lynn, Olivia and Makayla Morin. Relatives and friends may call at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins , 199 Woodford St., Portland, on from 3-6 p.m. Prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. from St. Peters Catholic Church, 72 Federal St., Portland. Obituary: Corey John Morin Milford and Portsmouth, NH-- Corey John Morin, 30, died unexpectedly 27, 2011 at Portsmouth. He was born 15, 1980 in Bangor a son of John and Brenda (Richard) Morin. Corey was raised in Milford, where he was frequently found having lots of fun, many times of a mischievous nature. Corey had a great time playing sports of all variety, including basketball, soccer, football and especially Little League baseball, coached by his dad. With dedication and hard work, Corey graduated from Old Town High School in 1998 and continued on to the University of Maine, Orono where he achieved one of his proudest moments of receiving a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. With degree in hand, Corey landed a job as a Mechanical Engineer at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in of 2008. Coreys infectious smile, larger than life personality and great sense of humor made him a natural people person and he would light up any room that he walked into. He was always quick with a hug, one liner, a marginally or completely inappropriate joke or other story, whatever it took to get others laughing. It was rare to leave Coreys presence without having at least one occasion of side splitting laughter. With his warm smile, quirky personality and quick wit, Corey was an exceptional son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend to all. Corey is survived by mother, Brenda and step father, Gary Stetson; sister Kristy Morin and significant other Corey Tougas; grandfather Francis Richard; Godparents Tim Richard and Rita Stewart; step bothers Gary, Joey, Matt and Adam Stetson; nephews JoJo and Evan Stetson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous special friends. He was predeceased by father John Morin and grandmothers Shirley Richard and Margaret Morin. Friends may call 6-8 pm at the Birmingham 438 Main Street, Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9AM at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town.
