Obituary: Waterville, Lucienne Lucy Michaud, 87, passed away at Lakewood Manor on , 11, 2013 leaving many sad hearts in her family and friends. Her children were at her side as she left to join her husband in Gus Michaud and son Rick who predeceased her. She was born on 30, 1925 in Lac Megantic, P.Q. a daughter of the late Joseph D. and Celeda M. (LaPointe) LaRoche. Lucienne married in Michaud on 24, 1950 at Sacred Heart Church in Waterville. Together they raised their five children. She worked at Keyes Fibre for many years where she made many dear friends. The most important thing in Luciennes life was her children and family which she centered her life around. will most fondly remember her beautiful smile which would melt away any worry or problem. In Luciennes retirement years she and her husband in devoted a great amount of their time to volunteer at the Muskie and specifically Meals on Wheels. She also was a member of the Elks Lodge womens auxiliary and the American Legion. Lucienne and in enjoyed traveling by bus, snowmobiling and playing cards with family and friends. She loved all holidays and had a special fondness for the Christmas season. She was known for making sure she gave her children gag gifts every year which were always opened with great hesitation and merriment. Lucienne is survived by a son Dan Michaud and partner Brice Booker of Newton, Ma, three daughters Diane Michaud Thibodeau and husband Joseph of Fairfield, Marlene Michaud Webber and husband Roger of a and Doreen Gilbert and a close special grandson, Patrick Gilbert of Albion. She also leaves two sisters Jeannette Nadeau and husband Everard of Winslow and Cecile Nadeau and husband Gerard of Sidney, granddaughters Tia Dixon, Talia LeClair and husband Scott, and Tovah Michaud as well as great grandchildren Dustee Dixon, Cameron Michaud and Cooper LeClair, a daughter-in law Paula Michaud and many nieces and nephews. Lucienne was predeceased by her husband in on 8, 2008, her son Rick Michaud on 3, 2011, a son in law Scott Gilbert, six sisters and three brothers. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Lakewood Manor for the loving care given to our mom and our family as well as a special acknowledgement of "Maude" the resident cat who brought such comfort to our mom and the family during her stay at Lakewood. Visitation will be held at the Veilleux on evening from 5-8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame Catholic Church on at 11 am followed by committal prayers at St. Francis Catholic . Obituary: Joyce L. Michaud Absence of your love, A constant ache in my heart, We will meet again.. Portland - Joyce Jody Michaud of Portland, was summoned by the lord on 7, 2011, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. Born 11, 1934 in Sherman Mills, ME, daughter of Harold & Florence Buzzell Lane. She was educated as a nurse at Eastern Maine Medical with additional training in New York and Massachusetts. During her nursing career she worked at Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA, Maine Medical , American Red Cross and Martins Point of Portland, ME. She was predeceased by her first husband, William A. Garner, II, and her husband and sole-mate of 18 years, Raymond A. Michaud, her parents and her brothers, Kenneth, Robert and Joel. She will be deeply missed by those who survive her: her sister, Gloria Lane Willigar and her husband Bob of Crystal, ME, half-sisters Karen Souza of Naples, ME and Kendra L. Chisholm of Ellsworth, ME, daughter Sharon E. Milose and husband Ed, grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda and Justin of Gray, ME, son Allen F. Garner, II and wife Julie, grandchildren, Will, Lauren and Brad of Cumming, GA, son Mark C. Garner and wife Joyce, grandchildren Alex and Zachary of Las Vegas, NV. Stepson James Michaud and wife Valerie, Stepdaughter Karen Michaud, grandchildren Sara, Dan and Kathleen, Stepson Kenneth Michaud and John Brasseux. She will also be sorely missed by her neighbors at Parsons Pond and her weekly bridge partners. Jody was a member of the Woodfords Congregational Church. She enjoyed walking, cooking, entertaining, playing cards with her bridge group and spending time at Pine Point Beach with her family and friends. Family was so important to Jody; she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being a Hockey Mom and grandmother. Jody always had a smile on her face and was willing to help out where ever she could. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Jodys family extends their deepest gratitude to the Medical staff at Maine Medical and Gosnell Memorial Hospice House and to her great team of doctors and nurses with a special thank you and appreciation to her caregiver, Diane Rolfe. Obituary: Jeanne Constance Michaud 89, formerly of Edward Avenue, died early morning at St. Mary's dYouville Pavilion with her loving husband and son at her side. She was born in Lewiston on 27, 1928 the daughter of Alphonse and Elise Cote Pelletier and was educated in Lewiston schools. Jeanne was a member of The Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church. She worked in the office at Shapiro Bros Shoe and Clark Shoe , and worked at Lewiston High School in the kitchen. She later did the bookkeeping for the family business, Michaud Plumbing and Heating for 17 years before retiring. She enjoyed planning trips and traveling with her husband and friends. She was a dog lover, enjoyed knitting and playing cards. She is survived by her husband of over 66 years, Maurice A. Michaud of Lewiston, whom she married 9th, 1950, her son Norman Michaud of Lewiston, and a grandson Brian Michaud of Lewiston. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, Doria Kullson and one brother, Joseph Pelletier.
