Obituary: Anita B. Ste. Marie Old Town - Anita Blanche (Morancy) Ste. Marie, 83, died Nov. 20, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born on Dec. 10, 1926 to Leontine Madore and Alfred Morancy. Anita graduated from Old Town High School in 1946. She was employed at Whites Canoe , and she also worked 9 years for the family of Braley Gray. She was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. The things that brought her great joy was cooking, gardening, crocheting doilies, family gatherings, coloring with her grandchildren, and cheering on her favorite teams, the Patriots and the Red Sox. Anita is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul R. Ste. Marie; children, Sandra Allen of Old Town, Sharon Veino and her husband Corey of Greenbush, John Ste. Marie and his wife Jan of Freemont, NH, Sherry Terra and her husband Joseph of Glenburn, and Shelly Brown and her husband Louis of Lincoln; sister Mary Doucette; grandchildren, Pauline, Ambre, Stephen, Renee, Brandon, Travis, Ashley Rose, Abigail, Hannah, and Autumn; step grandchild Dominick; great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Breanna, and Christian; great-great-granddaughter, Kayli, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anita is predeceased by her sisters, Germaine, Yvonne, and Jean; and her Aunt Margrete LeBlanc. Family and friends are invited to call from 6-9pm , Nov. 23 at Birmingham , 438 Main St., Old Town, where a prayer service will be lead by the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary at 6:30pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on , Nov. 24 at Holy Family Church in Old Town. Interment will follow at St. Josephs in Old Town. wards, all are invited to a light luncheon at the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in support of the family c/o Paul Ste. Obituary: FALMOUTH - S. Margolin, 91, formerly of Auburn, died 24, at Sedgewood Commons, with her family at her side. She was born in Auburn on 7, 1919, a daughter of the late Soloman and Leah (Colp) Meltzer. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School, Class of 1937. She then went on to graduate from Leland Powers in Boston. She married Joseph N. Margolin in 1944. He predeceased her in 1994. She owned and operated Margos Apparel in Norway for many years. She was a member of Beth Abraham Synagogue, where she was a past president of The Sisterhood and was very active in Hadassah. was an avid card player and enjoyed golf and her 2-mile walk every day. She leaves two daughters, Bonnie Faiman and her husband, Larry, of Auburn and Sharon Margolin of Old Orchard Beach; a sister, Sarah Smalley of Sun City, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Casey Faiman and his wife, Karen, of Lawrenceville, N.J., and Margo Lynn Meyer and her husband, Eric, of Lancaster, Mass.; four great-grandchildren, Brody Meyer, Joseph Faiman, Baylie Meyer and Elliot Faiman; and many nieces and nephews. |
