Obituary: Lifelong New Orleans resident Marilyn Ann Mossy, a retired legal secretary and service secretary to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, died 7, at age 79. Marilyn was born on 4th, 1935 to the late Naomi and William Spraul. She met her husband of 59 years, Donald Mossy, Sr., at a Catholic Youth Organization dance and they were married in 1955. Marilyn was a beloved member of the Holy Name Society, Lions Club, and was a recipient of the Louis IX Medallion from the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Marilyn is survived by three of her children: Alan Mossy, Geralyn Savoie, and Glenn Mossy. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Donald Jr. Friends and family may call at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church, 535 Deerfield Rd., Terrytown, LA. 70056 on 13, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment is in Lake Lawn Metairie .
