Obituary: Theresa Lambert McClelland, native of French Settlement, LA, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away , 16, 2012, she was 94. She was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Schork and husband, Bill Lyon, and Marie Parker and husband, Barrie; daughter-in-law Judy McClelland; grandchildren, Kristen Mattar and husband, Mike; David Paul McClelland and wife, Heather; Daniel Newman and wife, Allyson; Lindsey Oakley and husband, Drew ; Matt Newman and wife, Amanda; and six great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leland Mac McClelland and son, David Lamar McClelland. Pallbearers will be Daniel Newman, Matt Newman, David Paul McClelland, Bill Lyon, Barrie Parker, Lionel Lambert, Darrell Lambert and Drew Oakley. Visitation will be held at St Thomas More Catholic Church, , 19, 2012 from 12:30 until religious service at 2:00pm. Obituary: Rowena Brou McClelland passed away on , 23, 2014 at the age of 89. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on , 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Msg. Bob Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary . Rowena is survived by three sons, Scott McClelland and wife Betty of Gonzales, Robert McClelland and wife Patti of Denham Springs, and Neal McClelland and wife Leah of New Iberia; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Murrell and husband Harold of Crosby, Tx.; one sister, Marcelle Woosley of Gonzales; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Rowena was proceeded in death by her parents, Marcel Brou and Aline Robert Brou; her husband, Robert A. McClelland; and one sister, Audrey Waggenspack. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on , 24, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Quirk & Son . A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM. Obituary: VINTON - Mrs. Lee Christine, 83, passed away on , Dec. 12, 2015, in Lake Charles, La. Lee was a wonderful wife and mother who loved cooking and caring for her family. Her hobbies were working in her flower garden, painting, reading and writing poetry. She loved animals, and was a volunteer for the Ward 7 Fire Dept. for more than 10 years. Survivors include three children, Gwen Ravencraft, Johnny McClelland and wife Diana, and Genevieve Marie Owens and husband Darrel, all of Edgerly; four sisters, Melba LeDoux, Becky Braneff and husband Larry, Charlotte Cormier, and Ginger Terrel and husband,Marvin; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. service will be 2 p.m. , Dec. 16, 2015, at Hixson Chapel in Vinton. Burial will follow at Big Woods . Visitation will be 9:30 until time of service with a rosary at 11 a.m. on at the funeral home.
