Obituary: Ruth McQuiston McCaulley, age 87, entered her eternal home on , 16, 2016, surrounded by her three children. Our Heavenly Father gave the world a gift on 21, 1928, the day Ruth McCaulley was born. She grew up in Wheaton, Illinois, the daughter of Dale S. and Florence McQuiston, and the sister of Dale and Malcolm. A graduate of Wake Forest , Ruth married Robert S. McCaulley in 1951 and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where she devoted herself as a homemaker. Ruth and Bob enjoyed many summers on their houseboat at Dale Hollow Lake with family and "Alky-non" friends. also enjoyed the winter months at their home in Sarasota, Florida. Known for her zest for life, Ruth was an avid fisher woman, swimmer, dog lover, pianist, guitarist, and baker, as well as an artist who specialized in water colors and oils. Ruth was commissioned by the fellowship of Al-anon to paint a portrait of one of the co-founders. The effigy of Ann B. was dedicated at the Al-Anon World Service office in Virginia Beach, where it is displayed to this day. Because she never met a stranger, she had a knack for reaching out to others with her own brand of volunteerism. It was her love for others that led her to countless hours of service. For over 40 years, she offered her experience, strength, and hope with family and friends of alcoholics, sharing her tireless message of trusting God and living "One Day at a Time". Ruth will be remembered as a little lady with a big heart and a keen sense of humor; a testimony that she had more friends than she could count. She is survived by her children: Marcy Eshbaugh, Sherry Palmer (The Reverend Brad Palmer), and Mike McCaulley ( Ann), her grandchildren, John Eshbaugh, Miesner (Phil), Cyndi Sobberi (Joseph), Katrina McCaulley, and Charley Palmer. Also surviving, are Alan McQuiston (Kim McQuiston), Anne McQuiston, Marion McQuiston Hodge (Lee), and Joan McNaughton (Steve), Kasey Richardson (Brian), Ansleigh Richardson, and Griffin Richardson. The McCaulley family extends our sincere appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Forest Springs Campus for your tender loving care of our beloved mother and for your encouragement as she looked forward to the upcoming birth of her first great grandchild, Aaron. We also extend heartfelt thanks to the many friends and neighbors for the phone calls, messages, and prayers. And Dad, we know you are waiting for your "Honeybabe" in heaven. It is with this in mind that we lovingly send her to you. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM , 19, 2016 by the Reverend Brad Palmer of Blountville Presbyterian Church, Blountville, TN, in the chapel of Arch L. Obituary: NANCY BARLOW MCCAULEY, age 94 of Cynthiana, died , 13, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical in Lexington. Born 22, 1921 in Harrison to the late, Samuel and Mary Francis Clifford Barlow, she was a farm wife, loving mother and grandmother, homemaker, a member of the Cynthiana Christian Church, Harrison makers and Farm Bureau. Mrs. McCauley was owner and manager of both H & R Block offices in Falmouth and Cynthiana for over thirty years, secretary of the head of the Kentucky Department of Education and Kentucky Colonel. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy E. Bud McCauley; a grandson, Greg C. McCauley; a sister, Adgie Pope; three brothers, Robbin Barlow, Wallace Barlow and James Barlow and a son in-law, J.W. Bailey. She is survived by a son, Paul C. (Evelyn) McCauley, Harrison ; a daughter, Patricia Bailey, Lexington; four grandchildren, Diane (Ronnie) Glenn, Leigh Ann (Rob) Reeves, Mary Lynn (Lorne) Smith and Mattie Jane Osborne; a granddaughter in-law, Sara M. McCauley; eight great grandchildren, Megan (Ted) Kunkel, Ashley Nichole Wolfe, Sarah Lynn Reeves, Daniel Robert Reeves, Elizabeth Marie Smith, Erin Avery Smith, Gema Ashyton McCauley and Ronan Gabriel McCauley and a great great-granddaughter, Eloise Grace Kunkel. services will be 10:30 A.M. at Ware by Dr. Larry Bishop, Dr. Tim Teater and Bro. Carl Morton. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. . Burial will be in Battle Grove . Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International or the Berry Baptist Church Parking Lot Fund.
