Obituary: Remigia Munoz, 96, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 9:02 a.m. on , 9, 2017 at the Montrose . She was born on 1, 1920 in Fort Worth, TX to Margarito & Maria Garza Garcia. She married Francisco Frank Munoz on 29, 1938 in Fort Worth, TX. He preceded her in death on 21, 1999. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Fort Madison Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, doing word searches, playing bingo, going to the casino and watching the Price is Right. She was a Cubs fan and loved Mexican music and dancing. She also made great tortillas. Remigia is survived by: 5-sons: John (Juana) Munoz of Fort Worth, TX, Robert (Yolanda) Munoz of Dallas, TX, Jose (Yoly) Munoz of Fort Madison, IA, Roy (Bonnie) Munoz of Peoria, AZ & Richard (Linda Simpson) Munoz of Fort Madison, IA; 7-daughters: Gloria Mendez of Fort Madison, IA; Frances Mendez of Fort Madison, IA, Avelia Munoz of Fort Worth, TX, Olivia (Jose) Ibarra of VillaGran, Mexico, Anita (Raul) Garcia of Fort Madison, IA, Rita (Billy Campbell) Munoz of Lomax, IL & Kathy (Tim) Martinez of Fort Madison, IA; 23-grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 2-sisters, 2-brothers and 8-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on , 13, 2017 with the family to receive friends from 3:00 to 4:30 with a wake service to be held at 4:30 p.m. all on at King-Lynk & Crematory. Obituary: Nancy Kay Munn age 79 of Searsboro, passed away morning 11,2015 at the Pella Comfort House. Nancy was born on 10, 1935 in Oswego, Kansas. She was the daughter of Velma O. OFarrell and Ralph C. Livick. On 20, 1954 Nancy married her high school sweetheart Stanley Arnold Munn Sr. were blessed with two children Stanley Jr and Pamela. lived in California until 1973 when they came to Iowa and bought the family farm. were blessed to share over 60 years of marriage before Nancys passing. Nancy loved to paint, spend time going to auto auctions and just being with her husband and helping him mask cars to be painted. enjoyed going to Midwest Old Threshers each year and also did a lot of traveling before Nancys health became too poor to enjoy that. Her family was very important to her and spending time with them was one of her passions. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Velma, her father Ralph, stepmother Katherine, and her brother Ronald. She is survived by her husband Stanley Arnold Munn Sr., her son Stanley Arnold Munn Jr. (Lisa), Her daughter Pamela Ann Sevits (Jerry). One sister Barbara (Linn) Farrier. Four grandchildren Samantha (Jim) Farnum, Stanley Robert (Kim) Munn, Timothy (Tara) Sevits, Tiffany (John) OHenry and seven great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on 25, 2015 from 2-4 for family and friends to come and share memories together at the New Sharon City Park Building. Memorials may be made to the dialysis unit at Pella Regional where Nancy did dialysis for 5 years and made many friends. |
