Obituary: Nicole Lynnette (Flint) McKay, 34, Greentown, passed away at 1:15 PM, , , 12, 2016 at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born 27, 1982 in Kettering, Ohio. On 25, 2014 on Sanibel Island, Florida, she married Chad McKay, and he survives. She graduated from Taylor High school in 2000, and was a member of the UAW local 685. She worked for Chrysler in Kokomo. Nicole enjoyed antiquing, playing softball, basketball, and was a master shopper. Survivors include her husband Chad, daughter, Rori Rae-Lee McKay, mother, Jennifer (McDonough) and husband Robbie Coleman, father, Rodney Flint and wife, and her other mother, Dawn Flint, sisters, Fabia and Phoenix Flint, nephews, Brayden Flint and Zayne Little, grandfather, Robert Flint, grandmother, Margaret Ann McDonough, special aunt, Lori Sacks, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Helen Flint, John McDonough, Ronald Buck Sacks, Mary Penny Sacks, and an uncle, Regan Flint. Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster Street, with Pastor Bobby Estle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn , Greentown. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with expenses. Envelopes will be provided at the mortuary. A dinner will be held at the VFW Post 1152 on North Washington Street immediately following the services on . |

Obituary: NANCY KOVER BLACKBURN McKAY, 93, passed away peacefully on , Jan. 22, 2010, at home. Born 19, 1916, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Arthur E. Kover and Helen Sudro Doswell. She graduated from Central High School in 1934 and from the University of Michigan Phi Beta Kappa majoring in Botany, in 1938. She married Robert L. Blackburn of Olney, Ill., later that year and moved with him to Olney where she lived for 35 years. While in Olney, she was raising her two daughters but was also active in Community Concerts, duplicate Bridge, and gardening. She helped her husband run Gaffners Drug Store for 10 years and also took classes at Olney Central . Roberts death in 1972, she married George W. McKay in 1975 and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. returned to Fort Wayne in 1979. While in Fort Wayne, she was active in P.E.O. Chapter BD, Womens Study and Reading Club, West Central Neighborhood Ministry, Hope Alive, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, Fox Island, and the Fort Wayne Country Club. She was a Master Gardener, duplicate Bridge player, bird watcher, and a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church. She was a protector of the environment and a lifetime recycler. She is survived by her husband, George W. McKay; two daughters, Jean (Bill) Chandler of Olney, Ill. and Susan (David) Meyer of Fort Wayne; three stepsons, Rusty (Patricia) McKay of Indianapolis, Tad (Wendy) McKay of Indian Wells, Calif. and George McKay Jr. of Traverse City, Mich. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Robert (Pam) Chandler of Noble, Ill., Susan Chandler of Boulder, Colo., John (Courtney) Meyer of Fort Wayne, and Katherine (Jerome) Moenter of Lima, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Emmalyn and Maggie Meyer; and eight step-grandchildren, Whitney (Denny) Ahlerding of Covington, Ky., Hank (Michelle) McKay of Indianapolis, Kit McKay of New Haven, Conn., Betsy (Doug) Thompson of Evanston, Ill., Molly McKay of Kittering, Maine, Stafford McKay of Buenos Aires, Barb (Scott) Gowell of Lansing, Mich., and Anne McKay of Owasso, Mich.; and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her infant twin daughters. A memorial service 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 300 West Wayne St., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Obituary: Lila Marie McKay, 61, of Brazil, passed away on , 1, 2014, at Union Hospital. She was born on 28, 1953, in Newberry, MI, to Roscoe Arthur and Delores Mae (Fenner) Glenn. Lila worked as a security guard for Securitas. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting afghans, making dolls and candles, and crafting. She liked to watch Westerns and NASCAR racing. Most of all, Lila cherished the time she spent with her family. Her grandchildren were her world. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Lila is survived by her daughter, Michelle Dugan and her husband Eric of Terre Haute; grandsons: Alex Ragle of Brazil, Donovan Dugan, Sean Dugan, and Eric Dugan Jr., all of Terre Haute; sisters, Irene Rodden and her husband John, Debbie McGrath and her husband Mike, and Jacobs and her husband John, all of Michigan; many nieces and nephews; and her favorite granddog, Fancy.
