Obituary: MAPLETON ~ Hazel Idell Moushon, age 93, of Carrollton, passed away , 7, 2015 at her residence. She was formerly of Mapleton. She was born 19, 1921 in Spring Bay, the daughter of Erwin Carl and Hattie (Goehring) Winkler. She married Lyle B. Moushon on 1, 1941 in the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Spring Bay. He died on 24, 2008 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Doris E. Arnett on 15, 2000 in Pekin; two brothers, Herbert Winkler and Dale Winkler and one sister, Eleanor Waldbeser. Surviving are her children, Carl E. (Susan) Moushon of Ada, MI, Velma Idell (Larry) Gillingham of Carrollton and Duane E. (Sandy) Moushon of Tyler, TX. Also surviving are her grandchildren, (Dan) Bauer of Greenfield, Rex (Julie) Schofield and Mark (Brenda) Schofield, both of Carrollton, sse (Larry) Chandonnet of Peach Tree City, GA, Stephanie (Greg) Fountain of Pittsboro, NC, Mike (Kim) Moushon of Round Rock, TX, Steve (Stephanie) Moushon of Allen, TX, Diane (Andy) Van Vooren of Lewisville, TX, Carissa (Nate) Arnett of Davenport, IA, Darren Arnett of Pekin and Amanda (Tim) Styfhoorn of Dunlap; great -grandchildren, Tyler (Kasey) Bauer of Greenfield, Haley, Eric, Trevor, and Tanner Schofield, all of Carrollton, Briana Chandonnet of New York, NY, Austin (Lia) Chandonnet, and Cassie Chandonnet of Atlanta, GA, Caleb and Caden Moushon of Round Rock, TX and Kaitlyn and Sarah Van Vooren of Lewisville, TX. She also has a great-great grandson, Clayton Bauer of Greenfield. Hazel had been bookkeeper and manager of the family road construction and rock crushing business in Carrollton for many years, and also helped manage their farming operation. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin and attended the Carrollton United Methodist Church. She was very active in both churches, and was a longtime member of the United Methodist Women and Rachel-Sarah Circle at Grace Church. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. , 11, 2014 at Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Spring Bay . have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley s & Crematory in Pekin. Obituary: Heyworth - Vivian E. Lee Mouser, 96, of Heyworth, passed away , 20, 2016 at her residence. Vivian was born 6, 1919 in Stanford, IL, to Leonard and Erna Pleines Lee. She married Clair R. Mouser 2, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald; a sister, Margie Lee Weidner; and a son-in-law, David Grimm. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Lee Grimm and Diana Claire (Charles) Mclean; 4 grandchildren, David Chip (Alicia) Grimm; Ann Pederson; Amy Grimm; Darin (Kimberly) Mclean; 3 great-grandchildren, Zoey Mclean; Sam Chadwick; and Ian Pederson; a sister, Audrene Hancock; a sister-in-law, Shara Lee, and several nieces and nephews. Vivian was the head librarian for the Heyworth Public Library for twenty-five years retiring in 1993 and assisted until 2000. Vivian sold real estate beginning in 1967 and got her brokers license in 1972. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. , 27, 2016 at East Lawn . Burial will take place following the service at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heyworth Public Library or the Heyworth Ambulance Service.
