Obituary: Ronnie Louis Moore, 67, a resident of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on 24, 2016 in Mesa. He relocated from Long Island, New York to Phoenix, AZ in 1974 with his best friend and confidant Sonny Gillespie his 1st cousin. Ronnie was born on 1, 1949, in East Meadow, New York to Edward and Fannie (Mims) Moore. He was raised in Long Island, New York, where he also graduated high school from Roosevelt High School. He earned his Associates Degree while residing in Tucson, AZ. Ronnie joined the US Marines, where he served honorably. his service in the Marines, Ronnie continued to serve our country as a proud Marine Veteran, working as an Addiction Therapist for the VA Hospital. He treasured serving his fellow Veterans. Ronnie enhanced and saved many lives through his years working at the VA. Ronnie retired from the VA Hospital in of 2015 after 18 years of dedicated service. He met his true love Chandra Williamson in 2007 in the VA Hospital parking lot. She was leaving out of the parking lot after visiting with her father. On their first date, he told her Im not the marrying type so don even think about it; Chandra said cool I am not either. wed 4 years later, on 11, 2011, honey mooning in Hawaii. He enjoyed watching old movies, cowboy and spaghetti western movies in particular. He loved traveling to New York every year. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Chandra Williamson; step-sons, Nathan Moore (Renae), Justin Gaston; grandchildren Dimetres, Dominik, Janae, Dru, Jayclyn Moore and Nevaeh Davis. Siblings: Marie and Edward Moore Jr. (Proceeded in death), Marion Moore, Emily Moore, Richard Moore, and Gary Moore all of Roosevelt, NY. Two Nieces; Ramona Moore-Kennedy and Kuwana Moore Stevens; 3 Great Nieces and a Nephew: Daquan Kennedy, Leilah and Ahsann Stevens. Aunts: Estee Mims, Catherine Miller and Louise Brown, and a host of cousins and lifelong friends. Viewing/ visitation will be held on , 1, 2016, from 10:30 until 11:30, with funeral service starting at 12:00, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 E Jefferson St, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at National Memorial of Arizona. Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and is entrusted with arrangements. Obituary: Robert Eugene Moore was born 15, 1934 in Dowagiac, MI to Robert and Jane Moore and passed into the Lord’s hands on 11, 2010 after a 3 year, courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores of Green Valley, AZ, his younger brother Ron (Connie) Moore of Plano, TX, his precious children Robert (Pam) Moore of Niles, Cherie (Jim) Bradford of Dowagiac, Susan (Scott) Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Karen Barbour of Benton Harbor and Mindy Ortiz of Muskegon, MI; his step children Lynne Rice of Riverside, CA, Carolyn Pope of Tucson, AZ, Michael Cain of Green Valley, AZ and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as step grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved cousins who were his friends, Sandra Jane, Linda, Brent, Greg, Phyliss, Patty, George, Jr., Gary, John, Sharon, Cindy, Suzanne, Aunt Dorothy Fernham and long-time friends Leo (Karen) Carmody and neighbor, Richard (Ann) Flora. He served 3 years in the Air Force and worked over 30 years for the Post Office in Dowagiac and Niles. He was a sweet and lovable man, devoted to his family and he will be sorely missed by all of us who loved him. A memorial service led by Pastor John Kasper for Robert will be held on 24th at 10 a.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Keeler .
