Obituary: Hose Edward Looper was born in Greenwood Arkansas to Vernon Clifford Looper and Maudie Sterling on 4, 1937, he moved from Arkansas at the age of 16 and soon met and married his soul mate : Bobbie Ophelia Chestine on May 12,1956 in Stockton California. He worked first for Tiegert Construction until he became a superintendent for Charles H. Bloom Construction until his retirement after many years with the Bloom . He loved fishing and hunting and spent many years of his life doing tournament fishing in Stockton and the San Joaquin county areas. He was well respected by his family and friends and will continue to be the rock that kept his family together, he spent his time hunting and fishing with his best friend Gary Gentry until his illness took over and he lost his battle with cancer on 12, 2015. He is survived by his son's Robert Looper, Kevin Looper and granddaughters jheri Looper and family and Elizabeth Looper and Maggie , daughters Mary Looper and grandsons Kenny Kritch jr. (hurricane) and Justin Looper and great granddaughter Destiny Marie Lenard Looper , daughter Stephanie Looper and grandsons Hose Looper and Leo AgbulosIII and great grandson Leo Agbulos IV and youngest daughter Leslie Looper Kaarvand and husband Nate with daughters Kassy and husband stan and great grandchildren Haylie, cahli, lil cory, Matthias and Aunnie, and granddaughter Sabrina with great grandkids jozlyn and lil Chris, granddaughter Martha Wilcox and grandkids Alex, Nick, Eliza and Ysrael , granddaughter Anna Carter and family and grandsons Jake Wilcox ,Jeremy Kritch and Joshua Kritch and families. Hose is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Bobbie Looper, daughters Jerri Looper Kritch and Joy Looper. Our father will be greatly missed by his family and we would appreciate in leiu of flowers that donations be made in our fathers name to Hospice of San Joaquin and Scottish Rite Temple for all they did for us during this emotionally draining time in our lives. Obituary: Bobbie passed away on the evening of May 12, 2015; she celebrated 104 wonderful years of life with a birthday party on May 3rd with her family. She died peacefully with no apparent cause, her machinery just quit. Bobbie was born on May 3, 1911, as Rachael Elizabeth Floyd, in Terra Haute, Indiana. She left Indiana in a horse drawn bakery wagon with her parents and two sisters heading west. The family worked on their way, barbering and hair dressing through Colorado and finally settling in the 20s in Long Beach, California. owned Floyds Beauty Shoppe and Beauty s in Long Beach and Ventura. Mother owned and operated the Ventura businesses. Bobbie met Roy, an oil field worker for Shell Oil, in Ventura; they married in 1933 and enjoyed 67 wonderful years of marriage before Roys passing in 2000. bought their first home in Ojai in 1935 and lived on Tico Road until 1973 when they relocated to the Ojai Villa Mobile Estates, freeing them of yard work so they could travel with their RV friends. traveled thousands of miles in the US, Canada and Mexico. also enjoyed a trip to Europe with Bobbies two sisters. Casa Bella has been Mothers home since 2009. For 80 years, Bobbie lived within one square mile in the Mira Monte area. Bobbie was very involved in the valley; it being in the Grange, Mother Singers, Welcome Wagon, PTA, AFS, Girl Scouts, a number of churches and numerous local causes especially if they included children. retirement, Roy and Bobbie traveled with the Kenskill and Royal Rovers RV Clubs and in her free time she knitted hats, sweaters, afghans and made crafts for her children, grandchildren and the local hospitals. Once widowed, she donated many hours to the Nordhoff High School Library. She is survived by three daughters; step-daughter, Genevieve Rue of Apple Valley, CA; and daughters, Judy and husband Lew Dodson of Klamath Falls, OR, and Susan and husband Troy Barbee of Ventura, CA; eight grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and an extended family of nieces and nephews. She is the last of a generation. The family would like to thank the wonderful care givers at Casa Bella that have watched over Mother these past seven years; especially Doru and Lara Moga, and the current caregivers Alisha, Allison, Johanna, Ruby, and Collette. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on , May 18, 2015, at the Ted Mayr , 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, CA. Obituary: Marjorie Loop left us to be with the love of her life, Al, on 23, 2017. Marjorie (Hoffman) Loop was born to Henry D. Hoffman and Lola M. (Mowrey) Hoffman on 9, 1930, in Napoleon, Ohio. She spent her childhood Grover, Ohio distinguishing herself in the school system. graduation from Miami University, Marjorie taught in the school systems of Swanton and Bryan, Ohio. In 1953, in Paulding, Ohio, Marjorie married Alvin G. Loop. Their union of 56 years, until Al's death, was eventful and adventurous. Marjorie's skills and acumen were utilized and appreciated at Parker, Berg, Soldwedel and Palermo, attorneys in Pasadena and by Crowell, Weeden, and in Los Angeles. As a member of the Presbyterian Church in La Canada and in Visalia, Marjorie served as a deacon, as an elder, and sang in the choir. She supported and served Chapter HF, P.E.O. Sisterhood (president and past president), the Assistance League of Visalia, Delta Sigma Epsilon, and the Visalia Country Club. Surviving Marjorie are her two sons, Stephen and Craig, five grandsons, two granddaughters, three great grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Marjorie Loop was a dear friend, caring and supportive to many. She was a force to be reckoned with, believing injustice, propriety and "right and wrong." Her integrity was unimpeachable. She loved reading, rodeos, bridge, golf and a good laugh. A service in her memory will be held at 10:00 a.m., 15, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church, 215 N. Locust Street, Visalia.
