Obituary: Joetta J. "Jody" Laurent Jody J. Jody Laurent, passed away peacefully at home 14,2010, surrounded by family. She was born 8, 1958 in Lewiston, Idaho to Leland and Lucile (Bosley) Lee. She worked as a Certified nursing assistant at Yakima Convalescent. Most recently she managed the Silver Eagle Motel. Jody enjoyed working with people and would give whatever she had to those in need. Everyone she met she considered a friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and found great joy in her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephew. Jody is survived by her sons Nicholas(Tia), Douglas, and Thomas all of Yakima, and William of Cookville, TN. 2 grandchildren Nicholas Jr. and Samantha Laurent of Yakima. Her mother Lucile Lee of Port Angeles, WA. Sister Nancy(Bryce) Wilson of Yakima and brother Douglas (Trina) Lee of Rainier, WA. Former husband Jim Laurent of Yakima, and many nieces and nephews. Jody was preceded in death by her father Leland Lee and former father-in¬-law James Laurent. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date. |

Obituary: Drew had an incredibly adventurous spirit and was charismatic. He would warm your soul with his radiant smile. He was open-hearted and accepting of all. Never one to withhold but always giving; he was generous to a fault. Drew proved repeatedly that he was a self-starter and never one to sit idle. He was a leader to his friends and always encouraging others to share in his lust for life. With a passion for adventure, skydiving, snowboarding, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, surfing, and dancing were just some of Drews favorite pursuits. He also had a great appreciation of music and enjoyed reading. Drew quickly advanced up the ranks during his three years of working as an RV Technician. He was driven, quick to master any given task, and repeatedly demonstrated the ability to rapidly advance in his career. The value of discipline was not lost on Drew. He was committed, dedicated and determined to strive for personal improvement. He was adroit at the greatest skill of all, the skill of living. Drew is survived by his parents, Constance Crone Faulkner and Duane Launius; his step-father, Craig Faulkner; his two sisters, Amy Bovill and Christina Beutler; Brother-in-law, Nathan Beutler; two nieces, Kendall and Catlyn and three nephews, Jeremy, Isaiah and Treyson; six grandparents, Claus Crone, Karen and John Walker, Shirley Lawson, Ted and DeAnne Faulkner; 15 aunts and uncles, Reiner Crone, Christa Crone and Dane Launius, Cindy Miles, Greta Ward, Carol and Jon Lechtenberg, Bonna and Charlie Cooley, Rob and Kari Walker, Tom and Lorrie Walker, Ken Walker, and John Walker; and 24 cousins. There will be a public viewing from 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. , May 23, 2017 followed by a funeral on , May 24, 2017 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684 (360-892-6060).
