Obituary: Mae Taylor Larsen, age 93, peacefully passed away on 14, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 9, 1913 in Lehi, Utah to Ira and Sarah Jane Stoddart Taylor. She attended schools in Springville, Utah and graduated from Springville High School. Mae married her sweetheart, Allen Spencer Larsen in , 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah. are the parents of two sons and three daughters. She devoted her life to the serving her family and all those she came in contact with. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served as a worker in the Provo temple. She is survived by her children, Sandra Snow, Springville; Robert A. (Maxine) Larsen, Nephi; Kent T. (Grace) Larsen, Bountiful; Bonnie (Sherman) Huff, Spanish Fork; and Lynda (Ralph) Harward, Spanish Fork. She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 57 Great-Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law, Bob. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to A+ Hospice. Service will be held on , 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork 19th Ward Chapel, 585 North Main Street, Spanish Fork. Family and friends may call on evening, 18, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork and on from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City . |

Obituary: Lois Larsen peacefully passed away 14, 2014 of causes related to age. Lois was born 27, 1913 in Las Vegas Nevada to Albert Richard Nordquist and Ida Pearl Evans. She would have been 101 in 13 days. He daughter Karen always said that her mother would out live us all, and Lois did her best to prove her right. She worked until she was 89 at the Memorial Medical and loved anything to do with traveling, shopping cooking, cleaning or playing cards with her many friends. Until almost the very end Lois remained bright, active and always ready for a new adventure \ preferably somewhere out of town. Lois married Lawrence Burton Larsen on 26, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake temple. She and Burt had two children who were the light of their lives, and the best son and daughter for which anyone could ever wish. Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, sister, husband, and her grandson Paul Clough. She is survived by her son Raymond (Linda), daughter Karen (Richard) Clough, 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. We are going to miss her terribly. The family would like to thank all the staff at Heritage Place and Tiersa and Breanna of Hospice, as their loving care helped us all. Service will be held 19, 2014 at 2:30 with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. The services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. Interment to be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. |

Obituary: Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Lois Genevieve Eliason Larsen, 84, of Leland, UT, passed away , 12, 2008 in Provo, Utah from complications following heart surgery. Genevieve was born 9, 1923, the youngest child and only daughter of Ephraim Jacob Eliason and Lois Robison Eliason, in Deseret, Utah. She married her sweetheart, Glen Ray Larsen, on 18, 1950 for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS Temple. She attended schools in Deseret and Hinckley, Utah and graduated with top honors from Hinckley High School in 1941. She excelled in Business and Typewriting which she continued to pursue on scholarship at Brigham Young University. She was a member of their Commercial Teams and traveled in many competitions. She graduated from college with a major in Secretarial Practice and minors in English and Speech with a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate. She taught business classes for one year at Hinckley High School and then transferred to Spanish Fork High School where she taught English, Typewriting, Shorthand, and Accounting and then retired for 12 years to rear a family. She was asked to return to teaching and took classes to renew her Teaching Certificate and classes in Counseling and Guidance. She later got her Counseling Certificate and became the Guidance Counselor for Spanish Fork High School where she served for 19 years. She retired after 29 years in the education profession. She always remained active in civic activities and served as a leader on local, state, and national levels in many organizations including: American Association of University Women, President; State President Young maker Association; President of Cattle Women Association in the county and state; National Board of Directors American National Cattle Women Association. Professionally she served on State Department of Education committees; President Nebo School Counselors Association as well as State President of Utah Counselors Association and Utah School Counselor/Vocational Guidance Association, and many other civic and professional organizations. She was named Outstanding School Counselor and Educator of the Year. Her hobbies and interests revolved around her family and their activities. She always enjoyed reading and keeping up to date on current events by reading four newspapers and numerous periodicals weekly. She was thrilled at new technological advancements and purchased her first computer at age 70 and took classes to learn to use it. She published many books and publications and was excited to get the internet at age 80 so she could broaden her horizons and email friends and family. She is a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a teacher in all auxiliaries and President of the Primary and Young Women organizations twice each. She also served on the Stake Relief Society Board. She and her husband served a full-time LDS mission to the Oakland California Mission where she served as the Presidents secretary and Glen as fleet Coordinator. She has always served and was currently serving as a visiting teacher, a calling she loved. She is survived by her husband, Glen; her son, Rex Eliason Larsen and his wife Sherrie, Leland, Utah; her daughter, Brenda Lois Larsen Bradford and husband Dale, currently serving as Mission President in the Sao Paulo Brasil, Interlagos Mission. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Jane Leora Larsen, whom she has dearly missed for 19 years. Also preceding her are her parents and four brothers, Eldon A. Eliason; Max V. Eliason; Lincoln R. Eliason, and E. Phil Eliason. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way. services will be held on , 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spanish Fork West Stake , approximately 400 North 600 West, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held on , 17, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah and at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. on prior to the funeral.
