Obituary: battling endometrial cancer and blood clots our beloved Deborah Debbie Cheyenne Lewis entered into the gates of Heaven at 4:30 a.m. on , 14th and is now walking the streets of gold. Although our hearts break with the loss we rejoice in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior and is no longer hurting. She was born on 9, 1953 on a military base in Shreveport, Louisiana to Gerald Wayne Southard and Etha Lee Holley Southard. She later moved to Carrollton, TX were she resided most of her life. Debbie graduated from R. L. Turner High School in 1971 and started working for Foxworth Galbraith Lumber in downtown Carrollton as a bookkeeper in 1970 and remained there until 1992. From 1992-2005 she worked for Mercantile Bank & Trust as a loan service representative and in 2005 she started working at Reliable Reports, Inc. in Lewisville as a customer service representative where she remained until 2013. Debbie was looking forward to early retirement which started in 2015 but unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer that same month. As a single mother of two daughters she spent all of her life working hard to provide for her family. Often times struggling just to make ends meet she sacrificed everything to see that her girls had what they needed. Not only did she provide for them she ensured that her daughters were raised to know and love the Lord and understand the importance of family. For that reason the family has remained extremely close still today. She waited many years to become a grandma and although she only had 21 months she loved spending time with Brady by reading, playing and singing to him. Debbie was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and relentlessly gave to her church. Whether teaching School, singing in the choir or leading the worship she served in any way she could. Debbie was an active member of Valley View Baptist Church in Farmers Branch for over 30 years and recently joined Royal Haven Baptist in 2014. Debbie had a sweet disposition and gave from her heart she made a positive difference in the lives that she touched. Often times quiet she preferred to just listen but when she spoke her words were never negative or complaining. In her final days when asked by a chaplain where do you find hope her reply was in Jesus Christ because no matter what He sends her way He is with her. It is hard to say goodbye for now but we will see her again in Heaven one day. She is survived by her sister, Tina Southard of Carrollton, TX, her daughter Brandi Baker and her husband Casey Baker of Corinth, TX, her daughter Heather Akins and her husband John Akins of Denton, TX and their children Brady Akins and Baby Akins who is due in 2016. She is loved and will be sorely missed by her extended family and friends. Obituary: Our Precious David (Eddie) Edward Lewis Sr. went home to be with God on 30, 2016 at Scott and White Hospital, Temple, TX. David was Born 18, 1953 in North Adams, Massachusetts, To David and Lyda (White) Lewis. He graduated McCann Vocational High School in 1971, and studied automotive, in which he had a passion. He married the Love of his Life on 21, 1975, Patricia (Trombley) Lewis David started his career by working alongside his father at D&D Auto on the Mohawk Trail. He then continued his career at GE Plastics in Pittsfield MA specializing in transmission operations of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. David was one of the best Transmission men around and was transferred to Ft. Sill Oklahoma in 1996 to serve as Field Service Rep for General Dynamics on the MLRS. 10 years of excellent service, David was transferred to Ft. Hood Texas in 2006 where he supervised numerous soldiers across the country and both Korea and Israel. He also conducted several classes in which shared his knowledge of the transmission and turret drive among many other things. David was an asset to the United States Military as well as his fellow government contractors. He also has received various awards and acknowledgments for his achievements in this field and was employed by L3 Communications based in Muskegon Michigan, at the time of his death, and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. In his spare time David enjoyed rebuilding computers, flying airplane simulators, swimming, and going to Chuck E. Cheese. He enjoyed baseball and spent many years coaching women's softball in his hometown of North Adams. David was not only an asset in his professional life but he was also an asset in his personal life. David was a father to many and took care of anyone in need. He had so much love inside his heart that he was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was preceded in death by his parents, David (1999) and Lyda Lewis (1990) David is survived by his Wife Patricia Lewis, his son, David Lewis Jr., his daughter, Nicole (Lewis) Ramirez, son in law, Raymund Ramirez, 6 grandchildren, Haily Lewis, Maddison Lewis, whom he raised and cherished, Jordyn Ramirez, Lauryn Ramirez, Derek Ramirez, and Carson Ellsworth, whom he adored. 2 sisters, Donna Durant, and Debbie Mongeau, brother in law Art Mongeau, and several nieces and nephews. Many friends and coworkers. A time of visitation will be held at Crawford-Bowers of Killeen from 6:00pm-8:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm, Christian Mass will be at 11:00am at St Paul's Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Harker Heights. He was born on 15, 1938, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Harry and Opal Lewis. David is a retired Air Force Major.
