Obituary: Paige Madison Lejeune left this temporary place of residence for her eternal, heavenly home on , 24, 2016. Although Paige's years on this earth were far too few, they were abundant in the number of people she touched along the way and the lives she influenced. Those who knew and loved Paige, whether for all of her 16 years-or even 16 days or 16 minutes-couldn't help but be affected by her infectious, ever-present smile that would brighten any day and any situation. She came to be even more admired for her sense of humor, positive attitude in the face of tremendous adversity, and love for and devotion to her faith, family, and friends. From sharing a laugh with her sister squad to giving her little brother a hard time, from rolling her eyes at Mom or Dad to driving her red Mustang convertible--Paige loved life, and she fought valiantly for every last day of it. Some might say Paige lost her battle with cancer, but the reality is she beat it for the better part of three years. She didn lose-she simply decided to focus on a greater reward. Our beautiful girl is now forever healed, forever at peace. Paige is survived by her parents, Boyce and Amy, and brother, Jeremy; grandparents, John and Elaine Hendrix and Bobby and Kathie Lejeune; aunts, Jennifer Scott and Brandy Garcia; uncles, Jimmy Pollard and Wilby Lejeune; great-uncle, Craig Yates; and cousins, Taylor Hendrix, Lacie Lejeune, and Brandon and Hannah Pollard. The family will receive friends on , 28th, from 5 pm - 9 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St. A celebration of Paiges life will take place on , 29th, at 11:30 am at the Friendswood campus of New Hope Church, 108 W. Edgewood. Interment will follow at South Park , 1310 N. Main in Pearland. The Lejeune family would like to recognize and express sincerest thanks to the incredible team of medical professionals that took amazing care of our sweet girl. Dr. Julienne Brackett and the staff members of Texas Childrens Cancer and Texas Childrens Hospital 9WT-we are forever grateful for the love and compassion shown to Paige and the rest of our family. Obituary: John William Leitko, Jr., 79, of Fort Worth died , May 5, 2015 in Fort Worth. Visitation will be May 8, 2015 from 6-8 pm, Services will be held at 2 p.m. May 9, 2015 in the Riley Chapel in Hamilton Texas with burial following in the Gentrys Mill . On , 21, 1935 in Hamilton, Texas, John was born to John William and Louise W Meissner Leitko, Sr. He grew up in Hamilton and on , 21, 1956, he was married to Wanda Sue Thornton in Pottsville. Mr. Leitko was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a true friend to many. John worked many years as a master carpenter before he retired. He was preceded in death by his loving wife on May 2, 2005, his parents, eight of his brothers and sisters and his grandson Randall Courtney. Mr. Leitko is survived by his three daughters, Rhonda Kay Cavett and husband Tommy of Cleburne, Rita Courtney and longtime companion Carl Bear of Fort Worth, and Regina Schroeder and husband Daniel of Arlington; seven grandchildren Melanie Wilson, Mark Cavett, Kevin Cavett, Katrina Schroeder, Ryan Schroeder, Jana Courtney and Bradley Cavett; four great grandchildren; and two sisters Leona Fulton of Hamilton and Ella Tischler of Fort Worth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Mark Cavett, Kevin Cavett, Bradley Cavett, Ryan Schroeder, Walter Feldman and Albert Kratochvil. An honorary pallbearer will be grandson Randall Courtney. The family has designated that memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. |
