Obituary: ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- H.G. "Skip" Leffler, 64, of Arlington went home to be with the Lord on , Jan. 15, 2010. Memorial service: 3 p.m. , Jan. 22, at Park Springs Bible Church in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. at Moore . Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Park Springs Bible Church, Family Life, or Bible Study Fellowship. He was born on 14, 1945, in Austin. He was a devoted husband and proud father and grandfather. He dearly loved his wife, Becky, his two children and his five grandchildren. Skip had a successful banking career and was currently working as Mansfield Banking president at American National Bank of Texas. He was very involved in his church, Park Springs Bible, where he served as an elder, life group leader, and home team leader. He also was active in Bible Study Fellowship where he served in various roles over 20 years. Skip, along with Becky, served as city ministry director for the Family Life "Weekend to Remember" marriage conference that was held in Grapevine every year and has had a positive impact on thousands of marriages. Skip also served on the advisory board of Mission Metroplex. His family and friends rejoice in the knowledge that because of Skips personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, we can look forward to being reunited with him in eternity. His parents, Mearl and Dorothy Leffler, preceded him in death. Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky Leffler; daughter, Michelle Leffler Volk and husband, Jay, of Murphy; son, Brad Leffler and wife, Kerith, of Frisco; grandchildren, Caleb and Jordan Volk, Kirsten, Katelyn and Josh Leffler; sister, Emily Kay Burk and husband, Dennis, of Bedford; and brother, Tom Leffler of San Francisco, Calif. He was surrounded by his loving family and many caring friends. He was born 15, 1970 in Richmond, Indiana. Tony was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandson. He graduated from MacArthur High School, and received his BBA degree in Marketing from UTSA. He was a Farmers Insurance Agent and Life Insurance Specialist. He was an avid golfer and member of Oak Hills Country Club. He loved his Lord and was an active member of Thousand Oaks Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Kelli Curtis Leffingwell, 2 1/2 year old son Trenton Anthony Leffingwell; parents, Hal and Barbara Leffingwell of San Antonio; sister, Anjie Leffingwell of Houston TonyÂs bone marrow donor; grandparents, Philip and Bernie Blose, and Butzie Leffingwell all of Indiana; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Dorothy Curtis of New Braunfels, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darrell and Jill Curtis of New Braunfels; nephews, Caleb and Colton Curtis of New Braunfels; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
