Obituary: CRESSON -- Nora Fay Lawson, 77, passed away , 28, 2015. Nora was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was employed by Justin Boot in Fort Worth as a fancy boot stitcher for many years. Her children and grandchildren loved her very much and things will never be the same. She was born and raised in Cullman, Alabama. She lived most of her adult life in Texas, Fort Worth for a long time and she moved to Cresson in 1986 and ran Cresson Liquor store for a long time. She loved country music and dancing, and sewing she was a great seamstress. Her greatest joy was her family, she loved her children; however, she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom was loved by everyone that met her, she was either Mom or Nanny to everyone that knew her, and she will be truly missed. She is with her husband and we know they are having a ball! Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Bill L. Lawson; parents, Zelma Taylor and Louie Nobinger; and grandson, Jimmy G. O'Neal. Survivors: Her loving children, Brenda Miller and husband, Don, of Cresson, Donna Reyes and husband, Andrew, of Abilene, Michael Nickens and wife, Ronda, of Haltom City, Tracy O'Neal and husband, Jimmy, of Granbury and Mary Atwood and husband, Jamie, of Waurika, Okla.; brother, C.L. Nobinger and wife, Pat; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends who all loved her. Service: 10 a.m. in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Obituary: 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing. Myrtle (Fuschak) Lawson, 92, passed away on 27, 2016 at Generations for Senior Living in Bryan, Texas. She was born on 8, 1923 in Bryan, Texas to Anton and Gussie (Roth) Fuschak. Myrtle grew up on the family farm in Kurten, Texas. It was there that she learned how to cook and sew from her mother, Gussie. She also learned how to grow vegetables and raise chickens and cows from her father, Anton, and her 3 brothers, Alfred, James and Norman. Myrtle married William Bill Lawson on 10, 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina. were happily married for over 71 years. Myrtle was a life-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. As a housewife, she became an excellent cook and enjoyed baking kolaches for the family and friends to snack on. She also enjoyed playing dominos or cards on afternoons with the neighbors. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents and all three of her brothers. She is survived by her spouse, William; and her son, Larry, of Bryan; sisters-in-law, Janie Fuschak of Bryan, Rosie Stravelmos of Houston, and Evelyn Marsh of Station. A visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. at Memorial Chapel in Bryan with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. John McCaffrey and Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary . Active pallbearers will be Morgan Fuschak, Van Fuschak, Olan Fuschak, Gary Lenz, Tommy Lenz and Allen Valenta. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the staff at Sherwood/Generations for the loving care they provided over the last 5 years of her stay at their facility. The family also sends their deepest appreciation to all the nurses and aides of Hospice Brazos Valley who made Myrtles last days to be a peaceful time.
