Obituary: Our beloved, Roy A. Lange, 89, passed on to the Lord, 30, 2008 in his home on River Falls Drive in Emerald Forest subdivision. He was born 11, 1919, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Allert and Kirsten Lange. His education consisted of college level training under the instruction of a brokerage firm in NYC. He was an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin and received a B.G.E. degree from the University of Omaha, Nebraska, with a major in Economics. His military education consisted of OSI schooling, Air Inspectors School, Air Tactical School, Air Command and Staff School, Armed Forces Staff JCS, earning top standing in two and upper five per cent in all others. During his military career, Roy worked in Washington, D.C., at the Pentagon, NYC, Rabat, Morocco 3 yrs; Wiesbaden, Germany5 yrs; Montgomery, Alabama; Norfolk, Virginia; Arlington, Virginia; Rantoul, Illinois and Albuquerque, New Mexico. retirement, he lived in Malaga, Spain 15 yrs; Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; Jacksonville, Florida; Houston and San Antonio, Texas. He attained the rank of Lt. Colonel before his retirement in 1968. this exemplary military career, Roy moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he joined Wackenhut Corporation, heading their security division. He transferred to Houston, Texas, where he expanded Wackenhuts services in their southwest region, completing his assignment in 1974. Roy worked closely with GMU, Gospel Missionary Union, in Spain, and became actively involved in missionary support through Avant Missionaries, among others. He thrilled at helping others in need through charitable contributions. As a member of Northern Hills United Methodist Church, he found fellowship and meaningful worship in the last years of his life. Roy and Vee celebrated 23 years of marriage in 2008, enriched by love, memories, travel, worldwide friendships and family. He is survived by his wife, Vee, her son and daughter, Taylor and Janice Culpepper, their grandchildren on her side, Kaitlyn and Keegan Culpepper; his five daughters, Darilene Bonnet, Colette Lange, Yvonne Chapman and her husband, Carl, Jacqueline Haynes and Michelle Collins Lange; seven grandchildren, Benjamin and Gregory Bonnet, Chapman Wright and Buck Chapman and his wife, Megan; William Haynes, Kirsten and Amy Collins; and two great-grandchildren, Zachery and Madison Wright. He is fondly remembered by other relatives and many friends. He loved his wife, Vee, his 5 daughters and respective families and the kids; his 57 Chrysler New Yorker the Pink Elephant; one-liners he was a master; Tiger their Yorkie; golf, NFL bets with his son-in-law, Carl; scaring the trick-or-treaters on Halloween; chocolate chip ice cream; dancing, Hogans Heros; military life; surprise vacations for wife, Vee; writing perfect letters; endless supply of doggie biscuits in his coat pockets; buffalo cards; being a Republican Hillary is the exception; singing on the radio during the war and later in the shower; standing up for the little guy, and his School Class, pianist and choir at Northern Hills Methodist Church. The family thanks Dr. Horton, Dr. Marks, Dr. Liu and Odyssey Hospice for their tender and exceptionally loving care of Roy. Flowers may be delivered to Northern Hills United Methodist Church. Obituary: Robert Charles Lange Robert Charles Lange, a 40-year resident of Irving, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 9, 2012. Bob was born in St. Louis, MO on 24, 1928 to Rev. Robert and Lillian Lange. graduating from the Missouri School of Mines with a degree in petroleum engineering, he worked in the oil drilling industry for over 30 years. He held various management positions with international on and offshore drilling companies, traveling through out the world. retiring, he volunteered for many years with the DFW Ambassador program, the Greater Irving Republican Club and served on the board of the Irving-Las Colinas Board of Realtors. His wife, Evelyn Kucera Lange, and daughter, Kathryn Ann Lange, predeceased him. He is survived by his son Bob and wife Diana of Castle Rock, CO; daughter Susan and husband Bill Banowsky of University Park, TX; grandchildren: William and wife Callie, Robert, and Benton Banowsky, Ava, Luci, and Lily-Anne Lange; sister Marian and husband Don Piehler of Laguna Woods, CA and brother Paul and wife Delva of Marion, IN; and brother and sister-in-law Rev. Ed and Irene Kucera of Hermitage, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob will be remembered by his family and friends for his quiet confidence, steadfast faith and devotion to the Lord. Services will be at 11:00 am on , 13, 2012 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7611 Park Lane, Dallas, TX 75225 with the Rev. Brent McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Obituary: Robert Bob Eugene Lange died at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas on 30, 2005 at the age of 74. Born in Houston, Texas on 30, 1931, his parents were J. and Stella Walker Lange. Bob Lange is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Betty Whall Lange; and three children, a son Robert Eric Lange and his wife Christine Vitiello Lange of Wellesley, Massachusetts, a son Dr. Kurt C. Lange and his wife Dr. Elisa Blum Lange of Dallas, Texas, and a daughter Amanda Lange Bosse and her husband David C. Bosse of Amherst, Massachusetts. He is survived by five grandchildren, Emily Lange and Luisa Lange of Wellesley, Massachusetts, and Rebecca Lange, Adam Lange and Charles Lange of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by an uncle, Malcolm Walker of San Antonio, and an aunt, Mary Lange Green of San Antonio; and a beloved sister-in-law Frances Whall Vordenbaum of San Antonio. He is further survived by a nephew, cousins, other relatives, and many friends, especially at the Bombay Bicycle Club. A graduate of San AntonioÂs Brackenridge High School in 1949, he received a Bachelors of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1953. He spent his entire career in advertising, working for several daily newspapers in Texas and Massachusetts, including the Beaumont Enterprise and Journal, San Antonio Express-News, the Houston Post, and the Boston Herald, where he held the position of Director of Advertising. Retiring in 1996, the final years of his career were spent as Marketing Director for the San Antonio Express-News. Bob Lange campaigned in several elections and was a champion of civil rights issues. He prided himself on his work to elect Dr. Ford Nielson to San Antonio City Council and actively supported the inclusion of African-American wedding announcements in local newspapers. Bob Lange enjoyed golfing and reading, excelled as an artist, and participated as a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church community.
