Obituary: Dorothy Elizabeth Landry, was born 23rd, 1929 to Payton and Edith Hanks Wyatt in Lawton Oklahoma, she went to be with her Father in Heaven 24th, 2015. She is happily rejoicing with family who preceded her. She joins her parents, sister, two brothers and her husband, Floyd Landry, Jr. During her many years in Midland she owned and operated Best Yet Answering Service and The Snack Bar, in downtown Midland. She always said she had the very best people in Midland on her answering service. She never liked being idle, after retirement she worked as a care giver for many people in Midland. Dorothy was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church before moving to Belleview Baptist Church in Midland, Texas. Dorothy is survived by her five children, Larry Cantrell, of Wichita Falls, TX, Donna Sue Cantrell of Bastrop, TX, Woody Keith and Julie Landry, of Amarillo, TX, Teresa Tuttle, of Odessa, TX and Lennis and Janelle Landry, of Houston, Texas. Dorothy was loved by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She leaves behind several honorary children including Bonnie and Stan Beard, Karen and Lee Bell, Sandy DeBord and Sandy Flournoy. Viewing will be at Ellis , , 30th, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. services will be at Ellis Chapel, , 1st, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. |

Obituary: Donald Charles Landry, 61, of Edge, Texas, passed away 23, 2009 at Seton Hospital in Austin, Texas. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. 27, at Memorial Chapel in Bryan, Texas with Monsignor John Malinowski officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic . Visitation will be 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donald was born 21, 1948 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He eventually moved to Austin where he owned and operated Texlan-Co Construction, building homes and custom cabinets for 14 years. In 1992, he moved his company to Bryan, doing commercial construction and custom cabinets. having heart transplant surgery, Donald had to give up his custom cabinet works. Donald was a member of the catholic faith and attended St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Bryan. He loved golf, fishing and watching his grandsons in everything they did. He was the Regional Central Texas Director for Life Begins at 40 Golf Tournament in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Harris Landry and Gladys Babineaux Landry. Obituary: Charles C. Landry entered into rest 18, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 76. He was born 13, 1933 in San Antonio to the late Charles A. and Mae (Collins) Landry. He attended St. Gerard Catholic School from first through twelfth grade, graduating in 1952. He then joined the United States Air Force for 4 years working in radar surveillance. Upon exiting the military, he was accepted into the electrical engineering program at the University of Texas in Austin, graduating with his EE degree from his beloved alma mater in 1961. Charlie has continued to work in the engineering field over the past 50 years until recently becoming ill. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Séamus Aiden Mullins, and brothers and sisters. Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Rose Landry; children, Chuck Landry and wife Becky, Duane Landry and wife Lisa, Luanne and husband Ray, Susan Mullins and husband Patrick, Amy Coursey and husband Rob; grandchildren, Chris, Caitlin, Blake, Jared, Nick, Jonathan, Amanda, Brenden, Zachary, Shane and Colby; great granddaughter, Marcie; sister, Shirley Marcus; numerous nieces and nephews; daughters-in-law Debbie Davidson and Carol Andrews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. , 22 with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. , 23 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church with the committal service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park with military honors. Obituary: Catherine Irene Landry It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Catherine Landry, 90, long time Port Neches resident, who died , 30, 2015 in San Diego, California. Catherine was born 22, 1924 in Lake Charles, LA to Rufus Ott and Irene Porter Ott. graduating from Hotel Dieu Hospital School of in Beaumont, Texas, she worked as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. She married Charles Elwood Landry, Sr. in 1947. resided in Port Neches for 58 years where Catherine was an active member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She especially loved nursing and greatly enjoyed her time spent with the church Alter Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and by sisters Wardella Fontenot and Carol Spilman. Catherine is survived by sons, Charles Landry, Jr. and wife Carol of Wilmington, Delaware; Stephen Landry and wife, Cindy of Sugar Land, Texas; daughter, Karen Davis and husband, Mark of San Diego, California; brother-in-law Allen Landry and wife, Joan of Georgetown, Texas; 5 granddaughters, Kelly, Kathleen and spouse, Mark, Cheryl, Allisa and spouse, Brett, and Stacy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held , 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
