Obituary: Mr. John Stanley LaMarr passed away , 15, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 85. Mr. LaMarr was born 16, 1929, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents John S. LaMarr Sr. and Mildred Thibadeaux LaMarr. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict and in Vietnam. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University and retired as a safety engineer for Moore Business Forms of Nacogdoches, Texas. Mr. LaMarr was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian LaMarr. HIs survivors include his children, Kathryn Jean LaMarr, John Stanley LaMarr III, and Margaret Ann LaMarr. In lieu of flowers, his family has sugested memorials to the Disabled Veterans (DAV) or the Wounded Warrior Project. Private arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Directors in Nacogdoches, Texas. |

Obituary: Sarah "SALLY" Charlotte LaMar, passed away on , May 25, 2010, in Houston, Texas. Sally was born 6, 1929, in Buhl, Idaho, to Leonard E. and Irene MacNamara. moving to Houston in 1964, Sally worked at Texas State Optical in Meyerland for almost 30 years. She lived in the Willowbend Subdivision of Houston for 46 years before moving to Liverpool, Texas. One of Sallys greatest passions in life was watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow through the years. Sallys other passions were baseball and fishing. Sally is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 33 years, Chuck LaMar, her brother Charles MacNamara, and her brother John MacNamara. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Dennis Caputo of Missouri City, Texas, her son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Cheryl LaMar of Clearwater, Florida, and her son Danny LaMar of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her companion and fishing buddy of 10 years, John Myers of Liverpool, Texas, her 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren - "GRANNYs" special angels: Grandchildren: Carrie Bishop, Sarah LaMar, Emily LaMar, Charlie LaMar, Nicole Caputo, Tabby Caputo, Alex Caputo, Mackenzie Caputo, Emmy Caputo, Jillian Caputo, Tyler Gonzalez-LaMar and Zachary Gonzalez- LaMar; Great Grandchildren; Caitlin Bishop, Cole Bishop, and Bradley Bishop, her sister-in-law Dorothy Waltie of Portland, Oregon, and nieces Linda Waltie-Anderson, Mary Waltie, Sally MacNamara -Ivey, and Sue MacNamara-Harris. Obituary: Murlene LaMar, a long-time resident of New Waverly, member of First Baptist Church of New Waverly and retired employee of Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, died the 15th of at Cornerstone Hospital of Conroe at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Allen and Muriel Cooke.
