Obituary: Mary A., 95, widow of Earl E. Levengood of Douglassville, passed away on , 16, 2015 at the Keystone Villa. Born in Douglassville, Amity Township, PA she was the daughter of the late Lora (Moser) and J. Stanley Gross. Mary was the valedictorian of the class of 1938 of Amity High School. She was the co-owner of Levengood Flowers with her husband. Mary was a life time member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Douglassville in the past she had served on the church council and taught school, as well as being active with the Campfire Girls and was a den mother/pack leader for the Cub Scouts. She is survived by three daughters, Janet, widow of Fred McMullen of Birdsboro, Judith, wife of James Trout of Douglassville and Jean, wife of Robert Wolf of Delaware; a son Donald, husband of Diane (Petrillo) of Douglassville; eight grandchildren, Mary Frazier, Kristine Reitnauer, James Trout, Karen Trout, John Levengood, Amy Levengood, Rebecca Woodzell and Benjamin Wolf; eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth, wife of Dennis Brooke of Bechtelsville. Mary was also predeceased by five brothers. Services will be 11 a.m., , 21, 2015 at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville. Obituary: Joseph M. Levendosky, 79 a resident of Connellsville since 1959, died early Morning, 25, 2011 at his Residence while being comforted by his loving wife, Ruby. He was born 22, 1932 in Everson, a son of the late William S. and Cecelia Osinski Levendosky, who died 14, 1980 and 16, 1979 respectively. Joe was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville. He was a Graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School, Class of 1950. He was a retired Pressman Feeder for the former Anchor Hocking Cap of South Connellsville with 38 years of Service. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with 1745 Co. L., 350th Infantry Division in Germany during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Corporal. He was a recipient of the Army Occupational Medal, Germany and the National Defense Service Medal. Joe was a Life Member of the Everson Polish American Club and the Everson V.F.W. Post #595 and a member of Local #24M, GCIU of Pittsburgh. Joe was an avid Golfer and Fisherman. Joe leaves to cherish his memories to his loving and devoted wife, Ruby M. Worley Levendoski, whom he married 13, 1959: His Daughter: Deborh Lynn Shields and her husband Donald of Normalville His Three Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren. His Two Sisters: Gertrude Pinskey and Joann Oswald both of Scottdale In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by: Five Brothers: Edward, Daniel, Raymond (3-31-1996), William S. Jr. (12-5-1988) and Thomas P. Levendosky (10-4-1994). His Four Sisters: Helen Pogwzd, Clara Gallagher, Mary Ann Dinie and Irene Deruyter.
