Obituary: Graveside services for Nettie Lorene Little will be held on , May 24th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Park Hill , with Pastor Shawn Miller officiating.Visitation will be held on , May 23rd, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Online condolences for her family may be left at www.reedculver.com. Nettie Lorene Mays-Little was born on 28th, 1943, in Bristow, OK, the daughter of Roy and Bertie Pearl Lucille (Canada) Mays. She graduated from Bristow High School. On 3rd, 1962, she married her sweetheart, Jerry Little in Miami, OK. This union was blessed with two sons, Justin and Lane, and three daughters, Katrina, Nita and Greta. Nettie was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was an accomplished seamstress and made all of her familys clothes, prom attire, and Halloween costumes. Anytime you walked into her kitchen, the aroma of her meatloaf, beans, fried potatoes, polk salad, and wonderful cakes filled the air. She was very artistic and created anything she needed. She crocheted and made beautiful bedspreads and doilies for family and friends. Nettie collected rocks, making beautiful landscaping garden with her flower displays. When she was younger, you would find her tagging along to go camping with Jerry and the kids. She was funny, and possessed the best dry humor, using it on Jerry and her kids. She was married for 54 years to Jerry, he passed in 2016. Her health began to fail her and she passed from this life on May 20th, 2017 in Park Hill, OK surrounded by her family. She was 73 years old. She will be missed. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph Arch Mays and wife Marth Elizabeth Wilson, and Samuel and Lou James, her parents, her husband, her daughter Katrina Williams in 2017, three brothers, George, Sam and Joe Mays, and four sisters Beulah, Faye, Tom, and Rignal, and her grandson, Cody Parrick. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Justin Little and wife Joyce of Keys, OK, Lane Little and wife of Tahlequah, OK, Nita Little of Stroud, Ok, and Greta Richards and husband Theran of Okmulgee, OK. She has one sister, Mary Alice and lives on in her 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren with one soon to join the family, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. |

Obituary: Joyce Welcome Rogers Little, 86, entered the gates of Heaven on 28, 2015. She was born on 27, 1928 in Okemah, OK to Herman Allen and Sylvia Irene (Brady) Cheatwood. Joyce loved people, and people loved Joyce. She had a servants heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Joyce enjoyed reading, entertaining, decorating, sewing, collecting angels, traveling, attending church, and spending time with her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terrell Chester Rogers; second husband, E.B. Little; and grandson, Andrew Rogers. Survivors include her children, Lynda McNab (Robert), Dr. Robert Rogers (Phyllils), Terrell Randolph Rogers (Marie), Richard Rogers (Mary); grandchildren, Robert Rogers (Kasey), Keith Rogers (Lindsey), Kevin Rogers (Melanie), Jeremy Rogers (Amanda), Shekinah Rogers, Roxann Champeau (Scott), Janet Rogers; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Addison, Lainey, Katherine, Marc, Madelyn and Zachary Rogers, James, Jonathan and Mary Elizabeth Moore; sister, Welema Greer (Tom); nieces and nephew, Senee Bocquin, Deborah and Larry Greer; aunt and uncle, Mabel Howard and Orman Chet Cheatwood; and a very special friend, Earlene Tanner; and a host of other family and friends.
