Obituary: Richard G. Lesho, age 63, of Geneva, Ohio passed away , 3, 2013. He was born 25, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charlene (Ward) & Michael Lesho and married Beverly Hall in Wickliffe, Ohio on 20, 1969. Rich worked as a glazier at All Seasons Glass in Geneva. He served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for Geneva Township for many years. Rich also had been a website designer for some local area small business. He loved fishing and reading and was always busy working on projects around the house and helping his friends complete their projects the correct way. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Lesho; daughter, Cheryl (Bob) Smith; sister, Michelle (Bill) Voreiter and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Micky Lesho, who passed away in childhood. Private family services will be observed. Obituary: Ronald E. Leshinski , 72, of Vermilion, died , 25, 2015 at his home. He was born 30, 1942 in Vermilion and has been a life long Vermilion resident.Ron graduated from Vermilion High School in 1961 and then began his career with Ford Motor . He started on the line at age nineteen and worked his way up through management, overseeing the Lorain and Avon Lake manufacturing plants. Following his retirement in 1995, Ron continued to consult for Ford in the U.S. and Mexico for many years. He was a member of St. Peters Church in Huron and enjoyed farming and watching football. His family was the center of his life. He was generous, selfless, and a great provider. His favorite thing to do was host family and friends at home, enjoying laughs and telling stories over a meal. Those who knew him best were able to enjoy his rich sense of humor, and he showed his love by feeding you or giving you a giant bear hug. He is survived by his daughters, Denise (Bill) Ross of Columbus, Doreen Collins of Monument, CO, Dianne Leshinski (Stephen) of Traverse City, MI, and Sarah Schaffer of Anderson, SC; sons, Ron F. (Alejandra) Leshinski of Houston, TX and Rich (Melanie) Timko of Hillsdale, NJ; 10 grandchildren: Rachael, Sarah, Leah Collins, Nicholas, Hannah, Samuel, Stevie and Ellery Tooker, Alexander Timko, and Alexander Leshinski; half brothers, Don Timko of Huron and Donald Leshinski of Las Vegas; and half sister, Therese Timko of California. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jan M. (nee Gorbach) on Aug 24, 2015; his parents, Dominic and Mary (nee Gima) Leshinksi; and a daughter, Debra Leshinski. The family will receive friends on , 5th from 10 am until the time of a service at noon at the Riddle , 5345 South Street Vermilion OH. Friends and family are encouraged to join the Leshinskis for a meal immediately following the service at a location to be announced. Obituary: DOROTHY I.S. LESHER, age 88 of the Otterbein St. Marys, and formerly of New Bremen, died on , 31, 2014 at 12:55 A.M. at the Joint Twp. Dist. Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was born on 24, 1925 near New Bremen, the daughter of the late Irvin and Ida (Poppe) Neuman. On 25, 1948 she married Clarence Lesher, who survives in St. Marys. Also surviving are their children Linda and Mark Forry of Hamilton, OH, Barbara and Bruce Lemmon of New Bremen, Joe and Teri Lesher of New Bremen, grandchildren Levi and Brittany Lesher, Jacob and Beth Lesher, Adam Lesher, Dan Forry, Andrew and Stacey Forry, Zach Forry, Shannon Forry, and five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was a brother Virgil Neuman. Dorothy was an active member of St. Peters Church in New Bremen, where she was involved in the Womens Fellowship, the funeral lunch committee, the Quilters, the Refunders, and volunteered in many other aspects of the church. She was a 1943 graduate of New Bremen High School, and a graduate of the Maumee Valley School of where she received her training as a Registered Nurse. Over the years, she worked as an R.N. at different places including the Joint Twp. Dist. Memorial Hospital, Dr. Nobles office, school nurse at New Bremen Local Schools, and she went on to retire from the Valley after many years of caring for others. She and her husband were charter members of the New Bremen EMS, she was a 4-H advisor, and enjoyed quilting and cooking for others. Dorothy loved to spend time with her family and friends, and she lived life to its fullest by caring for others and always volunteering a helping hand. Services will be held on , 4, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peters Church in New Bremen with the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial will follow at the German Protestant in New Bremen. Calling hours will be held on , 3, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Gilberg-Hartwig , and one hour prior to the services at the church on . Obituary: CLARENCE EUGENE LESHER age 91 Of New Bremen, OH., died on , 10, 2016 at 11:35 A.M. at the Otterbein Retirement Community of St. Marys. He was born on 10, 1925 in Toledo, OH. He was the son of Franklin W. and Mary A. (Kuhn) Lesher. On 25, 1948 he married Dorothy Neuman who died on 31, 2014. Survivors include his children Linda and Mark Forry of Hamilton, Oh., Joe and Teri Lesher and Barbara and Bruce Lemmon, all of New Bremen, grandchildren Levi and Brittany Lesher, Jacob Lesher, Adam Lesher, Dan Forry, Andrew and Stacey Forry, Zach Forry and Shannon Forry and his great grandchildren Colin Lesher, Elliott Lesher, Landon Lesher, Weston Lesher, Nolan Forry and Raelan Forry. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, his brothers Donald and Richard Lesher and his sisters Eileen Cole and Beverly Christiansen. Mr. Lesher was a member of the St. Peters Church of New Bremen. He was very active and had held all the offices within the church. He was a Charter Member and first President of the New Bremen Emergency Squad. He was on the German Protestant Board, the German Twp. Zoning Board and belonged to the American Legion Post 241 of New Bremen, the New Bremen Historic Association, the Auglaize Farm Bureau and the Traveling Wheels Camping Club. Gene served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 where he was an Aviation Machinist Mate but also was a tail gunner/radio operator onboard a TBM Avenger Torpedo Bomber. He was a machinist at the Minster Machine Co. for 40 years and belong to the Minster Machine Co. 25 Year Club. He also was engaged in farming his entire life. Following retirement, he became a volunteer at JTDM Hospital and clocked 2400 volunteer hours. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing and telling the stories that went along with each outing. services will be on , 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Peters Church in New Bremen with Rev. Ed Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant , New Bremen. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 P.M. on , 12, 2016 at the Gilberg-Hartwig in New Bremen and on one hour prior to the services at the church.
