Obituary: Kate Lineberger 1933-2016 Dallas- Kate Green Lineberger, 82, passed away on 25th at Robin Johnson House surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jackson on 28, 1933 to the late William Walter and Mattie Belle Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Brady Rhyne Lineberger and their son, Timothy Rhyne Lineberger; brothers, James, Otis, R.C. and Claude Green She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly. Kate was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Dallas. She retired from Wix after 39 years of dedicated service. Kate loved to bake and everyone enjoyed her pound cakes. She enjoyed working in the yard and being outside. She loved to travel and she enjoyed many trips over the years with her husband Brady. Survivors include her daughter, Meredith Brooks of Dallas and grandchildren, Shannon Brooks of Dallas and Scotty Brooks (Ashlee) of Mt. Holly; great grandchildren, Tallon Brooks and another baby girl on the way due in ; sister, Joyce Green of Sylva, NC Celebration of Life Service will be , 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant with Pastor David Drysdale officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Obituary: Emma Quinn Lineberger 1938- 2021 Gastonia – Emma Lee Quinn Lineberger, 82 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on 23, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a native of Gaston , born on 24, 1938 to the late Robert Clayton Quinn and Pearl Barber Quinn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Caleb Lineberger; and her sisters, Jean Clippard and Lois Weathers. Emma was a member of Salem Baptist Church; she loved her church and church family. Emma worked for many years for Bali. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting; often making many different things for Samaritans Purse. Emma also enjoyed working in her flower garden. Left to cherish her memories is her loving family, Mike (Cindy) Lineberger, Scott Lineberger and Kim Gibby; her wonderful grandchildren, Dawn (Michael) Kiser, Courtney (Ricardo) Hernandez, Scott (Kayla) Lineberger, Megan Lineberger, Emily Gibby and Cory Lineberger; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Thomas and Sorsha Hernandez, and Isaiah Lineberger; brother, Clayton Quinn and sisters, Martha (Don) Dillard and Pat Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., , 26th at Withers & Whisenant . A Celebration of Life service will be 1:00 p.m., , 27th at Salem Baptist Church, 1534 Rolling Meadow Lane Gastonia, with Reverend Junior Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in the Dogwood IV Section, with the releasing of the doves. Pallbearers will be Scott Lineberger, Cory Lineberger, Michael Kiser, Mike Phillips, Kenny Lynn and George Kirby. Obituary: Edward Eddie P. Lineberger, 59, passed away unexpectedly on , 4, 2015. Born on 8, 1955 in Chesterfield, SC; he was the son of Mary Jean Boring Lineberger and the late Henry Vernon Lineberger, Jr. Eddie graduated from Cary High School where as an athlete he excelled in football, basketball and track. He went on to graduate from Catawba . With the exception of the ten years that Eddie and his father owned and operated Linebergers Seafood Restaurant in Apex, Eddie had a career as a retail sales representative in the consumer packaged goods industry working with Advantage Sales and Marketing. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially spending time with his friends on Lake Jordan. Eddie was Uncle Ed to his two nieces and two nephews. all loved spending time with each other and particularly listening to Uncle Eds many stories and tales of when I was . . . . . He was a very loving uncle, brother and son. He spoke often of his many friends and how grateful he was for their companionship and support. He loved many and in turn was loved by many. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Mary Jean Lineberger; brother: Henry Vernon Vern Lineberger III and wife Nancy, of Charlotte; nieces and nephews: Ryan Elizabeth Love and husband Bryan Love, Todd Lineberger, Anna Lineberger, the late Zachary Lineberger, great niece Callie Lineberger; and other family and friends.
