Obituary: Vance Ralph Langdon of Erwin, NC died 19, 2015 at his home. He was born 13, 1936 in Harnett to the late Glennie and Bermeta McLean Langdon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, G.W. Langdon and Baby Langdon and one sister, Inez Williams. Mr. Langdon worked many years in the construction industry. Mr. Langdon is survived by his wife, Flora Ann Langdon of the home. He is also survived by two sons, David Ralph Langdon and Mark Anthony Langdon and one daughter, Devin Renee Langdon Autry and husband Michael. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Malachi Wilson, Rachel Langdon, Christopher Langdon, and Aden Autry. Visitation will be held 21, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Cromartie Miller . A funeral service will be held 22, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel with burial to follow at Devotional Gardens. |

Obituary: Jane Deaton Langdon passed away on , 18, 2014 at Hospice of Wake , surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on 15, 1940, in Charlotte to the late Robert and Caroline Deaton. She is survived by her husband, John Maxton Langdon of Raleigh and her beloved children, their spouses and grandchildren; son Mark Langdon, his wife, Michelle, and grandson, Colt, of Raleigh; daughter Maria Lassiter, her husband, Rusty, granddaughter, Brittany Blinson, and grandsons, Zack and Luke Lassiter, of Benson; daughter Gina Langdon of Raleigh, and son Chris Langdon, his wife, Erica, granddaughter, Samantha, and grandson, Chase, of Raleigh; and brother, Bill Deaton, of Raleigh. Jane devoted her life with steadfast love and tenderness to her family. No birthday, practice, recital, game or other occasion was too small to be missed if it involved one of her children or grandchildren, and she dearly loved every minute of it. Jane never met a stranger and was always up for a friendly chat. Her good cheer and warm spirit were cherished by all who were lucky enough to cross her path. She will be missed greatly in direct measure to the love she bestowed upon everyone she met. Jane was a Mom to all who knew her - it was her extraordinary gift and highest calling. The family extends their deepest gratitude to Dr. Jeff Crane, who Jane loved deeply, and the staff of the Rex Cancer for the wonderful care they gave her throughout her battles with cancer. The family is also forever indebted to Hospice of Wake for their tender care in her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Angel Fund, Rex care Foundation, for use by the Rex Cancer .
