Obituary: Robert A. Lussier of Manchester peacefully passed away , 21, 2013, following a long period of declining health. Born on 17, 1920 in Goffstown, he was one of ten children born to Emery and Rose (Ledoux) Lussier. His high school education was cut short as he went to work for the Manchester International Shoe factory to help support their large family. There he met his future wife and married Mildred Charest on 21, 1940. Three years later he was drafted and proudly served the US Army in Germany during World War II. his discharge he continued to work in several different shoe factories, each with more responsibility, until he was plant manager in Belfast, ME. Bob retired early, moved to Florida and spent time with his sister and nephews who lived in the area. Later he moved to California to be with his daughter, grandson, and great grandchildren. In 1983 he moved back to Manchester, bought a condo, and performed maintenance on that building, along with the pool, in his spare time. He also taught line dancing and gave many demonstrations. On s he would get together with family and play penny ante card games. Then on s, he and Millie would serve as Eucharistic Ministers at St. Marie church. He was extremely talented, multi-faceted, and always had a good word for everyone. He will be missed by all. Bob is survived by his wife Millie, of almost 73years, and his 4 children, Armand Lussier and wife Sandra of Nashua, Pauline Born and husband Gene of Idaho, Maurice Lussier and wife Carla of Hudson, Ronald Lussier and wife Mary of Maine; two sisters, Jeanne Larochelle and Sr. Noella Lussier; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by seven of his siblings. The family would like to thank the Courville group and the VNA team for the exceptional care they provided our Dad in his final days. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on , 26, 2013 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary . |

Obituary: Richard V. Lussier, 85, of Merrimack, died 22, 2016, at Dartmouth Hospital, Lebanon, after complications from an accident, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lowell, MA on 14, 1930, he was the son of Henri and Lillian (St. Onge) Lussier. He was educated in Lowell and was a resident for many years. He worked for 30 years as an electrician for Cartier Electric and retired in 1995. Richard enjoyed camping, hunting, and long drives with his family. He was happiest when spending time with his wife and family, a true family man. He was dedicated and devoted, a softie with a big heart. Over all he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Family members include his loving wife of 65 years, Rita F. Obituary: Raymond R. Lussier, 57, of Manchester, NH, died peacefully 1, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family following a valiant battle for 1 ½ years against Primary Liver cancer. He was born in Manchester, NH on 22, 1957, the son of Raymond J. and Rita L. (St. Jean) Lussier. He attended local schools, graduating from Manchester Memorial High School in 1977. Members of his family include his mother, Rita L. (St. Jean) Lussier, sister, Sue (Lussier) Barbeau and her husband Richard A. Barbeau of Goffstown, sister Paulette Lussier of Manchester, NH. He loved his two nephews, Jacob and Jeffery Luce, and his special niece and godchild Michelle Barbeau. He also leaves three great-nephews, Evan, Samuel, Joshua; and great-nieces Keyanna, Stephanie. He was predeceased by his beloved father, Raymond J. Lussier 11/17/74, his baby sister Doris Lussier 6/1/52, and his brother and best friend, Philippe R. Lussier 8/28/12. Ray worked as a sheet metal worker for over 20 years. He loved driving around the countryside, especially Mont Vernon; and travelled often to Hampton Beach with Mom and Phil. He loved the outdoors year round, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, hiking, but most of all building sand castles at the beach. He was a loving, caring, and giving individual who helped many people throughout his lifetime. Even as his health deteriorated, Ray took care of Phil and Mom, and cut and split firewood every chance he could. The family would like to thank J. Marc Pipas, MD, and the entire Oncology Team at Dartmouth Hospital, Lebanon, for their excellent care; and Kim Polis, APRN who was always available for us. Also, the Manchester Visiting Nurse Association - Hospice, especially Laurie, Ruth and Kathy. Their care and compassion was appreciated beyond measure. Obituary: Philippe R. Lussier, 65, of Manchester, died 28, 2012 at Elliot Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manchester on 4, 1947 to Raymond J. and Rita L. (St. Jean) Lussier. Phil worked as a carpenter for many years with his dad. He loved hunting, fishing and archery. He was a member of the Londonderry Fish and Game Club. He also enjoyed driving around the countryside, especially Mont Vernon and New Boston, and traveling to Hampton Beach with his mother and brother, Raymond. Even as his health deteriorated, he cut and split firewood. A favorite pastime was hand feeding peanuts in his garage to squirrels and chipmunks, who knew he was a gentle soul they could trust. Phil plowed neighbors driveways in winter, delivered cordwood and always helped anyone who was in need. He weathered many illnesses and rarely complained. He was a shining beacon who taught everyone to appreciate life one day at a time. He left a lasting impression with all who met him. His last wish was to become an angel upon his death so he could help those left behind who are as sick as he was during his life. He has received his angel wings and his family is sure he will fulfill that wish. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Dr. Stewart Richmond, Dr. David Friedenberg, Dr. Peter Cheung and especially registered nurse, Kathy Hibbard for treating Phil with dignity, compassion and love. Their efforts, along with a kidney transplant, gave Phil and extra 13 years of life. It was greatly appreciated. The family includes his mother, Rita L.
