She was born in Manchester, 20, 1915, and was a daughter of Edouard and Bernadette (Allard) Gendron. She was a lifelong resident of this city. She was a retired shoe worker. Mrs. Lesmerises was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she had been very active in various church activities. She was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne, Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, American Legion Jutras Post Auxiliary, and a member of the Retired Federal Employees Association. She was married to J. Lionel Lesmerises, who died in 1985. She leaves a son, Raymond L. Lesmerises and his wife, Suzanne, of Bow; two daughters, Muriel Chabot and her husband, Ernest, of Bedford, and Annette Marcoux and her husband, Gregory, of Manchester; 6 grandchildren, Scott Lesmerises, Jay Lesmerises, Peter Chabot, Jodie Chabot, Ryan Marcoux, and Karyn Marcoux; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Lucien John Gendron of Bedford; nieces and nephews. Obituary: Bertrand J. Lesmerises, 88, of Manchester, died 17, 2007 at the Hillsborough , after a long illness. He was born 20, 1918, and was the son of Oscar and Yvonne (Gaudreau) Lesmerises. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. Bertrand attended local schools, and served in the United States Army during World War II. He participated in the European theater, seeing action during the Battle of the Bulge. He received a Silver Star medal for his service. Following his service time in 1945, and until 1960, Bertrand joined with his brother in operating the Lesmerises Brothers Market on the West Side of Manchester. He also worked for Foster Beef, Shaws and Prime Meats and was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters Union, Mr. Lesmerises was a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood, the Truth will set you free Ministry, of Hudson NH, World Apostolate of Fatima, The Blue Army USA Union, Missionary Rosebushes of St. Theresa; In addition, he enjoyed square dancing at the Heel&Toe, Allemande-eights, and the Queen City Promenaders. Obituary: Geraldine M. Lescatre, 79, of Merrimack, passed away peacefully 8, 2015, at Catholic Medical , surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester on 15, 1936, the daughter of Gerald and Madeline (Montgomery) Gagnon. She was a graduate of St. George High School and a lifelong resident of the area. Geraldine worked for Pandora Manufacturing for many years and later at Reeds Ferry Market, as a cashier, retiring in 1985. She then devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting and camping, and loved her dogs and cat. Her husband and her family were everything to her. She was a problem solver and the person everyone could count on. She was described as always being fair and respectful. Over all, she will be remembered a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves behind her husband and soul mate of 54 years, Raymond A. Lescatre; three daughters, Debbie Mason and husband Tim of Ossipee, Judy Gamache and husband Mike of Goffstown, and Maddy Jarry and husband Dan of Amherst; two sons, Michael Lescatre and significant other Phyllis of Manchester, and Keith Lescatre and fiance Lisa of Manchester; eleven grandchildren, Melissa Faris and husband Jeff, Chad, Ashley and Tori Gamache, Kate, Emily, Matthew and Amanda Lescatre, Abby Jarry, and Breanna and Bella Lescatre; five great grandchildren; one sister, Carmel Finnemore; two brothers, Donald and Dr. Charles Gagnon; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, John Raymond Mason in 2014; one sister, Connie Dubois; and one brother; George Cahill. The family would like to thank the staff of the ER and Murphy Unit, at Catholic Medical , for their exceptional care and support. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on , 12, 2015 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 225 Hemlock St, Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary . Obituary: Gerald L. Lescatre, 44, of New York, NY died 12, 2003 in New York City after a sudden illness. Born in Manchester on 7, 1958, he was the son of Robert O. and Clarisse (Beaulieu) Lescatre. He lived in Manchester until moving to New York in 1979. He graduated from West High School in 1976, then served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division until 1979. Mr. Lescatre worked as a stockbroker and more recently as manager of a Subway restaurant both in New York for many years. The family includes his parents of Manchester; three brothers, Robert J. Lescatre, Paul D. Lescatre and David M. Lescatre all of Manchester; a sister, Pauline T. Fiest of Manchester; his maternal grandmother, Lillian Miller of Goffstown; nieces and nephews. Obituary: Clarisse C. (Beaulieu) Lescatre, 80, of Manchester, died 2nd, 2015 at a local nursing facility surrounded by her loving family. Born in East Millinocket, ME on 15, 1934, she was the daughter of Leon and Lillian (Michaud) Beaulieu. She graduated from Jay High School in Maine received Certified Assistant training. Most recently she had worked as a clerk at Nickles Market in Manchester. Previously she had worked at Chicopee Mills for many years. Clarisse enjoyed reading and playing bingo. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with family. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Robert Lescatre in 2004, a son Gerald Lescatre in 2003 and one brother Alfred Beaulieu. Family members include one daughter, Pauline Fiest and husband James of Manchester; three sons, Robert Lescatre and wife Eileen of Manchester, Paul Lescatre and partner Skipp Gooley of Manchester, David Lescatre and wife Heather of Manchester; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Evelyn Parent and husband Alfred of Manchester, Regis Beaulieu and wife Lois of Maine, and Donna Desrosiers and husband Leo of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Kyong Beaulieu; nephews, nieces and cousins. Committal prayers took place on , 7, 2015 in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
