Obituary: Richard J. Lamarche, 70, of Allenstown, NH died May 6, 2012 at the CMC following a period of declining health. Richard was born in Lowell, MA on 8, 1941, the son of the late Rejeanne (Turcotte) and Gerard Lamarche. He was educated in Lowell and was a supervisor at BeeBee Rubber for many years. He met his wife Janice whom he married in 1977 and they became a family with 9 children. had resided in Merrimack for over 25 years. Richard was an avid sports fan who enjoyed traveling, trips to Mohegan and donating his time to St. John the Baptist Church soup & sandwich program. Most of all, he enjoyed his time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who will be sorely missed by all. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Armand (Emile) and Normand Lamarche and his step-son William Atkins, Jr. He leaves behind his wife of 35 years Janice (Mitchell Atkins) Lamarche of Allenstown; his sons, Richard and Jill Lamarche of Concord, NH, Gerard Lamarche of Pelham, Steven Lamarche of Ocala, FL, Christopher and Kerrie Lamarche of Lowell, MA, Eric and Mindy Lamarche of Lowell, MA; his daughters, Joan and James Morgan of Weare, NH, Donna and William Barnett of Allenstown, Sharon and Leighton Payson Jr. of Manchester; his brothers, Robert and Jacqueline Lamarche of Merrimack, Lucien and Anne Lamarche of Nashua; his sisters, Lucielle Parent of Nashua, Therese Dauth of Charleston, SC, Gertrude and Larry Finnegan of Nashua, Claire and Michael Craig of Peoria, AZ. La e, 85, of Manchester, NH died 18, 2006 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a short illness He was born on 28, 1921 in Manchester, the son of William and Claudia (Zoe) La e. He was a lifelong resident of the city. He retired from Lockheed Sanders after 19 years of service. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force 53rd Troop Carrier Wing. He was assigned to serve in the United States, but volunteered to serve in Europe where his three brothers were stationed. He participated in D-Day, as well as battles over Holland, Bastagone and Germany. Among his missions was supplying General Patton. He was awarded the Air Medal, Good Conduct Medal, the E.T.O. Medal with three stars, the Victory Medal and American Campaign Medal. He was a life member of American Legion Jutras Post and the V.F.W. post #8214, the V.F.W. Children , the American Canadian Association and AARP. He served as a chaplain and service officer for American Legion Post 79 and was a member of the color guard. He was a loving and giving father and grandfather who was an expert handyman. Never sitting still, he was an avid follower of current events and sports. He always had a smile and a conversation for anyone that he met. He loved his country, cooking, animals, and especially his cats. He had a big heart, sense of humor and a passion for his family. He will be greatly missed. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Helen (Przybyla) La e on May 18, 2006. Members of his family include two daughters, Claudia Danielson of Litchfield NH and Cindy La e of Manchester; three grandsons, Donald Danielson of Burbank, CA, Bradford Danielson of Boston, MA, and David Danielson Jr. of Goffstown, NH; one granddaughter, Lisa Lempke and her husband Rick of Derry, NH; one great-grandson, Elliott Lempke of Derry, NH; one sister, Theresa Demers of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Obituary: Roger A. Laliberte, 82, of Manchester, died 31, 2007, in Hillsborough . He was born in Nashua, 20, 1925, and was the son of Lucien and Diana (Letendre) Laliberte. He was educated in local schools. Mr. Laliberte served in the South Pacific with the United States Navy during WWII. He was employed as a plumber and steamfitter for local 131, for over 33 years, retiring in 1985. He served in various capacities at West Little League, as President, vice president, manager and coach. He was on the Board of Directors of the Manchester Viking football team, and the Manchester Pony League, and was one of the founders of the Sunset Baseball League. Family members include his wife of 37 years, Annette (Morin) Laliberte, of Manchester; his children Robert Ouellette, Robin Descoteaux, Richard Ouellette, Russell Ouellette, Richard Laliberte, Russell Laliberte, Rita Laliberte, all of Manchester; several grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Lavallee, of Manchester; 2 brothers, Paul Laliberte, Robert Laliberte, both of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 4, 2007 in St. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave, Manchester. Inurnment took place in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the Hillsborough Activities Department, 400 Goffstown Rd., Goffstown NH 03045. |
