Obituary: William Leet Jr., of Quincy formerly of Plymouth, died on 25th at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra (Allen) and is survived by his children Patricia Paul of Freedom, NH; Paul M. Leet of Atlanta, GA and Braintree; Steven W. Leet of N. Andover, Kevin Leet of Plymouth, Nancy Rankin of Walloston and David Leet of Walloston. He also leaves 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. William joined the U.S. Navy during WWII and served on USS Pasadena in the Pacific. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40 and had worked as the parts manager for over 33 years for South Shore Chrysler in Braintree. Obituary: Leet, Sandra Allen, of Plymouth, 70 at Milton Hospital 10. Sandra was born in Boston and was predeceased by her twin sister Susan F. Allen. She was the daughter of Muriel (Fields) and William Allen. Mrs. Leet attended Boston Schools and graduated from Amherst Regional High School, Amherst, MA where she played varsity sports, as her team established new records for three years in basketball and softball. Attended Sargent , Boston University, majoring in physical education in 1960. She traveled extensively with he beloved twin sister in the 1960?s and 1970?s. Employed as a legal secretary and office manager for Bertram Yacht, and general Dynamics, Telemetry Division for the Apollo Moon Shot in Quincy, MA Sandra became the first woman Chairman of the Plymouth Zoning Board of Appeals after serving as their secretary for eight years and a member for ten years. Mrs. Leet lived in Plymouth for 35 years and was often seen walking the Plymouth Waterfront with her beloved Collies, Lad and Daisy (Therapy Dogs) She was a member of the Collie Foundation and a life long Collie owner. Sandra leaves her Husband William H. Leet Jr., her two Collies her friends at Pilgrim Animal Hospital (Mike and Pam) and Jack and Judy Wolf of Scottsville, Michigan, and two nieces in West Virginia. Obituary: Born in Malden 100 years ago on May 12, 1915 to Clara (Fraser) Leet and Wilford Laurier Leet who both originated from Nova Scotia. Mr. Leet was predeceased by step-brother Robert LeBlanc, brother Army Captain George Arthur, killed in action in WWII and three sisters, Ethel Lord, Gladys Carroll and Marjorie Parlee. Bill Leet grew up in the Maplewood area and graduated in 1933 from Malden High. He was captain of the track team and ran a ecord race at Boston Garden his senior year. He then graduated from Burdett Business School. Mr. Leet served 4 years in the Navy Seabees in WWII in the South Pacific. Upon his return, he served the citizens of Malden as a member of the Malden Fire Department, rising to the rank of Deputy Chief. 30 years on the force, he retired to Venice, Florida where he enjoyed many more years with other retired relatives and firefighters. He was married for over 60 years to his Malden Sweet Heart Louise Jimmy (Antico), who predeceased him in 2002. His only son, William Paul Leet, sadly, also passed before him in 1997. His daughter, Mary Louise Kellerman resides in Billerica with her husband Arthur. Mr. Leet leaves behind two special grandchildren, Matthew David Leet of Saugus and Beth Anne Pattison of Glenmont, NY. Also lovingly survived by his great grandchildren, Xander, Zara and Gabriel William Pattison of Glenmont as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass celebrating his 100 years of Life on , May 23rd in St. Josephs Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 oclock. At a later date following a Mass at the Epiphany Cathedral in Florida, he will be placed with his wife in their Rose Memory Garden. |

Obituary: Richmond T. Dick Leeson, 81, of South Dartmouth, Massachusetts passed away surrounded by his family on 25, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. He was the beloved husband of Mary C. (Keane) Leeson. Born in Boston, son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Talbot) Leeson, he lived in South Dartmouth for nearly 50 years. Mr. Leeson attended Charles River School in Dover, MA, Dexter School in Brookline, MA and Moses Brown School in Providence. He graduated from St. Mark's School in Southborough, MA. He received his Bachelors Degree from Harvard University and his Masters Degree from the University of Virginia Business School. Mr. Leeson served in the US Army at Fort Devens. He worked for the family established business Leesona Corporation in Warwick, RI running the British Operation in Heywood, England. He was also Vice President at Babbit Brothers in Fairhaven, MA, a stockbroker for Advest, Inc. in Fall River, MA and regional sales manager for Tilton Equipment in Portsmouth, NH. Leeson was known for his keen intellect, dry wit and love of practical jokes. He was a gifted raconteur and will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, limitless curiosity, integrity and generosity. He was an avid and accomplished outdoorsman; deer hunting in the New Hampshire woods, enriching his surroundings with his love of gardening herbs, vegetables, Stargazer Lilies and blueberry bushes, and backpacking in the wilds of Alaska, Wyoming and Colorado with his wife Mary. His greatest passion was fishing off the coast of Marthas Vineyard for striped bass and swordfish on his cherished boat, Kittiwake IV. He won the boat division of the Marthas Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby with the biggest striped bass in 1997. When he wasn on the water looking for fish, he was at home making lures and spooling his reels. He spent his summers on Marthas Vineyard and during the rest of the year he enjoyed watching wildlife from his home overlooking the Slocum River. Leeson was an Emeritus member of the New Bedford Yacht Club, Padanaram Station, a life-long member of Ducks Unlimited and the Owl Club at Harvard, a strong supporter of the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust, and dedicated to furthering the goals of the Massachusetts Audubon's Sanctuary at Allens Pond in Dartmouth, MA. In the fall and winter, youd often find Leeson perched in a blind at Allens Pond, a short distance from his home, waiting for the elusive flock of geese to soar into the field with his black lab Barney quivering beside him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Richmond T. Toby Leeson, Jr. of Steamboat Springs, CO, William A. Bill Leeson and his wife Heather of Santa Fe, NM, Thomas E. Tom Leeson and his wife Tiffany of Steamboat Springs, CO and Gwendolyn G. Murdock and her husband Putnam of S. Dartmouth; two step children, Jeffrey D. DuBois and his wife Amy of S. Dartmouth and Russell A. Keane of Asheville, NC; a brother, Robert Leeson, Jr. and his wife Margaret Peggy (Goddard) of Narragansett, RI; and adoring "Poppi " to 11 grandchildren; Eliza, Harriet, Silas, Skylar, Sophie, Van, Graeme, Hazel, Jillian, Adrianna and Marielle; many nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved cat Quahog. Obituary: Kenneth A. Leeseberg, Jr. 51, of Franklin, died peacefully at his home 2, 2014, with his family by his side, following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Candace M. (Lawrence) Leeseberg. Born 9, 1963 in Boston a son of the late Kenneth A. Leeseberg, Sr. and Diane (Caplis) Leeseberg, he was a former resident of Newton before moving to Franklin. He was raised by the late William & Barbara (Caplis) Flynn was educated in Franklin, and until his illness forced him to retire, he was the facilities manager for St. Marys Parish in Franklin. Kenneth was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, listening to music, and collecting knifes. He treasured time spent with his family. He was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks. In addition to his wife of 24 years, he is survived by 2 sons, Edward L. & Francis A. Leeseberg both of Franklin, a brother John Leeseberg of Franklin, his uncle David Caplis, aunt Susan Roberts both of Lowell and uncle John Hickey of Woburn, several cousins and several close friends. Born in Lynn, Robert was the son of the late Arthur and Marion (Melzard) Lees; He was the beloved husband of 55 years, of Claire (Fitzgibbons) Lees; the loving father of Robert A. Lees, Jr. and his wife, Mary Jo; Bethany J. OBrien and her husband, Lawrence, all of Lynn; and Christopher D. Lees and his wife, Julie Beth, of Naples, ME; the cherished grandfather of Danielle and Cassandra Lees, Conor and Sarah OBrien, and Justin and Caitlin Lees; the proud great-grandfather of Nolan Tonnessen; the dear brother of: John Lees of Michigan, James Lees of Marblehead ,Barbara Lees, Ronald Lees, and A. Thomas Lees of Ipswich, Sandra Lohman and Paul Lees of Salem; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bob grew up and attended school in Swampscott. He served in the Army National Guard. Bob spent most of his leisure time in Maine. He loved hunting and golfing with his brothers, sons and grandsons. Bob loved traveling and spending time with his entire family, especially his wife, and best friend Claire. He was a member of St. Pius V Parish in Lynn. Bob owned and operated the Robert A. Lees Landscaping , which he founded in 1964. He also owned and operated Highland Gardens in Salem which he founded 1995. Prior to that, he worked at Hoods Milk in Lynn and Gibbs Oil in Revere.
