Obituary: Arthur Archie A. LeClerc, 89, of Templeton, died peacefully 5, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was born in Templeton, 27, 1925, son of the late Albert J and Blanche (Lemire) LeClerc, and has lived in Templeton most of his life. He married his beloved wife Priscilla M (Marsden) LeClerc, 20, 1969. Together they shared over 45 years of marriage. In 1943 Arthur enlisted in the United States Navy. He was a Seaman First Class, proudly serving during WWII. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Coral Sea, the U.S.S. Anzio, and VC-33. He was awarded The Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 10 stars, The Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Medal. being discharged in 1946, Arthur returned home to work, and attend school. He learned how to blow glass and make neon signs. Arthur felt a great sense of pride about his time he spent serving his country, and in May of 1957 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He earned the rank of Airman Second Class, and served until 1961. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. Arthur was a member of the Ovila Case Post 905 VFA of Gardner and the Lt. Roger P. Warfield Post 373 American Legion of Baldwinville. Arthur was a life time member of the Templeton Fish and Gun. When he was younger Arthur loved playing hockey and baseball. He spent time coaching girls softball as well. Arthur will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, and as a dedicated and loving husband. He had a strong will, a warm heart, and he worked very hard. To all who knew and loved Arthur he will be greatly missed. Besides his wife Priscilla, Arthur is survived by one son; Matthew P. LeClerc of Templeton, five step-daughters; Shelby A Rich of Gardner, Danelle L. Simpson of Indiana, Lorene E. Szoc of Baldwinville, Melanie J. Cutting of Phillipston, and Meryl J. Vaillancourt of Templeton, three siblings;, Anthony LeClerc of Waltham, MA, Roland LeClerc of Templeton, MA, and Rita St. Pierre of Winchendon, MA,, and many nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by two step sons; Robert Rumery in 2006 and Russell Rumery in 2014, and one step-daughter; Joline Rumery in 2007, one step-grandson, Stephen Rumery, and five siblings, Marguerite Arseneau, Theresa LeClerc, Blanche Holland, Edmund LeClerc, and Camille LeClerc of Troy, Michigan Relatives and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Arthurs life by gathering for calling hours in the Lamoureux Fletcher and Smith , 105 Central St., Gardner, MA 01440, on 11, 2015 from 1-4PM. His funeral will be held from the funeral home 12, 205 beginning at 9AM. A Mass will follow in Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Ave. East Templeton, at 10AM. Burial will be in Notre Dame , Gardner. Obituary: Anna (Ribeiro) LeClerc, Annie, age 81, of Fall River, died , 31, 2011 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Omer W. LeClerc to whom she has been married for the past 61 years. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joaquim and Mary (Ponte-Viera) Ribeiro, she had been a lifelong resident of the city. She attended B.M.C. Durfee High School and was a Lunch Aide at B.M.C. Durfee High School for 33 years before retiring in 2008. She was an animal lover, an avid reader, and a Red Sox fan. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Richard O. LeClerc and his wife Patricia of East Sandwich, and Thomas A. LeClerc and his wife Cynthia of Fall River, three brothers Manuel, Joseph and James Ribeiro all of Fall River, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Harold Ribeiro. Her will be held , 4, 2011 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by a Mass at 9:00AM in Sts.
