Obituary: Stanley J. Lukaszewicz, II 17, 1946 \ 15, 2013 Stanley J. Lukaszewicz, II, age 66, of Athens, PA, passed away on , 15, 2013 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Stanley was born on 17, 1946 in San Francisco, CA. He was the son of the late Stanley and Neva (Puckett) Lukaszewicz. He was a driven, self-taught entrepreneur who owned and operated many businesses throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed living a free and unencumbered life. He loved to tell stories and always relished in the opportunity of being able to weave a good tale. He loved horses and in his early years raced horses. He was free spirited and spontaneous and was known to drive hours just to be able to enjoy his favorite grinder and hot dog. He had a good sense of humor. He is survived by his six children: Sheri, Michelle, Kimberly, Stanley, Shawn and Michael; his grandchildren: Kaylee, Joshua, Alyssa and Victoria; his son-in-laws Jeff and Beau; his sisters, Annette, Carol, and Susan; his Aunt Lucy and Uncle Frank; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Diane. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. , 20, 2013 at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, Maine. Lukaszewicz ,93, of Lewiston, Maine, passed away peacefully at dYouville Pavilion on 7,2015 as The Lord opened his arms and welcomed her home. She was born in Lewiston on 26, 1921 a Daughter of Bronislaw and Katarzyna Lukaszewicz and was educated in Lewiston schools. Lucy was a Military Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Upon completion of her service time in the Navy, she entered nursing school and graduated, becoming a Registered Nurse. Her years working in nursing included several years at the former CMG Hospital, now Central Maine Medical in Lewiston and some years at the former Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, known today as Brigham & Womens'. She knew at 7 years old she wanted to be a nurse. She fulfilled her dream job for life, which was caring for people and made it into a rewarding career. Lucy loved to travel and spend time with her brother Francis and visit as often as she could with her many friends and family. She was loving, devoted and hardworking sister, aunt and friend who will be sadly missed. She is survived by her brother Frances Lukaszewicz, 3 nieces Annette Lehouillier , Carol Hale , Susan Anderson and many great nieces and nephews. Obituary: Francis Lukaszewicz died on 19th, 2015 at the Maine Veterans in a. He was born on Feb. 26th, 1923. in the house he lived in his entire life the son of Bronislaw and Katarzyna Lukaszewicz. He lived his life as a gentle religious man. Always having a kind word for everyone. Whenever he was called on the phone he loved to sing to you. Upon returning from the Navy he went to work for a Construction Co. until he was injured on the job. At a later date he drove for Lewiston city bus service and enjoyed talking to passengers each day always taking great pride in his work. For a time he also worked at Bates in maintenance dept. Francis is survived by his nieces Annette LeHouillier of Illinois, Carol Hale of Alabama, and Susan Andersen of Tenn. and many more 2nd and 3rd generation nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by his parents, a sister Lucy, a brother Stanley Lukaszewicz Sr. and a nephew Stanley Lukaszewicz jr. We will miss you Uncle Frank and Aunt Lucy. Obituary: GREENBUSH - On 17, 2014 (on his mother's birthday) Eugene Allen Lugdon, 70, joined his Heavenly family in rest. He was born May 5, 1944 in Howland, the son of Frank and Helene (Blake) Lugdon. Eugene's passion was serving his country and he retired after 20 years of highly decorated and dedicated service in the United States Army. He had many overseas tour of duty in Korea, Germany, and Vietnam. He was awarded many medals including Meritorious Service Medal, Cross of Gallantry, Silver Star, and Purple Heart. serving his country in the military he worked at the paper mill in Old Town. Once he retired he loved being at his Camp at West Lake. He dearly loved hunting and fishing and being in the woods and on the water. Eugene is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years, Sharon (Salisbury) Lugdon; two sons, David Lugdon of Bangor, Kevin and wife, Lorraine (MacLeod) Lugdon of Dedham, and one daughter, LeAnne (Lugdon) Waters and husband, Billy Waters of Bradford. He was the proud grandfather of Hannah Lee, Joshua, and Tiana Lugdon and Cierra and Colby Waters; siblings, Lorraine Carr and her husband, Fred, Doreen Thibodeau and her husband, Rudy, Elnora Scofield and her husband, Larry, Duane Lugdon and his wife, Diana and Judy Lugdon; special aunt, Patricia Thompson; sister-in-law, Brenda Pyle, brothers-in-law, James Salisbury and his wife, Diana, and Richard Salisbury; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eugene was predeceased by his parents and brother, Arnold Lugdon and sister, Maxine Lugdon; father and mother-in-law, Wellington and Feodora Salisbury. Eugene's family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses of EMMC CCU unit for their loving and personal care they provided him. Obituary: Frances Ann Lufkin, 79, of Skowhegan, passed away on 16, 2017 at EMMC in Bangor, surrounded by her loving family, including all 6 of her children. Frances was born 30, 1937 in Everett, Massachusetts, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Walsh) Hurley. She graduated from St. Patricks High School in the class of 1955. Frances married Richard F. Lufkin on 6, 1955 in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Frances held various jobs throughout her life, but her greatest joy was the many years she spent as a wife and mother raising her six children. The times she enjoyed most were when she could be together with her family at celebrations, especially her annual reunions. Her jobs included a bank teller for Federal Trust in Unity, a bookkeeper for Harold Keays in Albion, a bookkeeper for W.T.O.S. Radio in Skowhegan, a tax collector for the City of Waterville, a real estate agent for Whittemores in Skowhegan, and as a travel agent for Days Travel in Waterville. Frances was a past member of the Daughters of Isabella with the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Skowhegan, and a past member of the Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary in Skowhegan. Frances loved to travel, read, knit with her stitch ladies, plan the annual family reunions and enjoyed Facebooking with her friends and family. Frances leaves her husband Richard of Skowhegan, to whom she was married to for 61 years, her children Richard Lufkin III and partner Audra of Springvale, Elizabeth Erskine and husband Gary of Norridgewock, Thomas Lufkin and wife Diane of Skowhegan, Maureen Provencal and husband Stephen of Skowhegan, Pauline Hopkins of East Newport, John Lufkin and wife Sarah of Scarborough; two sisters, Louise Moore of Bellingham, MA, Evelyn Doyle and husband Richard of Glendale, AZ; fifteen grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and almost too many nieces and nephews to count. She was predeceased by her mother and father, her sister Eileen Haskell, and her two brothers Richard and Robert Hurley. The family would like to say a special thank you to the caregivers who made her last few months comfortable, especially grand-daughter Sarah Keller and daughter-in-law Sarah Lufkin. Frances was a very loving and giving person that will be dearly missed by her huge circle of family and friends. She was the rock and the centerpiece of the family and her passing will leave a hole that only the love within the family she has created can fill. We love you, Frances - rest in peace. She was a member of the Rome Church. She touched the lives of so many during her life, always surrounding herself with children with whom she could share her love. She leaves behind her son Jon Alton Lufkin of Bartlett, her three daughters, Julie Ann Lufkin Purtz, her husband Ed of Salem, MA, Jill Alice Lufkin Robinson her husband Bill of Mercer, ME, Jane Andrea Greenblatt her husband Paul of Freedom, NH, her 13 grandchildren, Aimee Adams of ME, Aaron Brown of OR, Heather Lufkin of CT, Heidi Lufkin of MA, Mathew Lufkin of CO, Mia Lufkin of MA, Natasha Abisciano of MA, Nathan Purtz of MA, Fred Purtz of MA, Jacob Purtz of MA, Lindsay Teaze of OR, Ryan Page of ME, Chelsea Leah Page of ME, one great granddaughter Isabella Abisciano of West Roxbury, MA, stepson Kenneth Minnott of El Cayon, CA, Sharon Minott of San Diego, CA, their sons Kenneth Minott of CA, and Kurt Minott of CA, granddaughters; Jill and Jenny of a, ME. She was predeceased by her step daughter Sandra Abbot. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Light House Ministry , 191 High Street, Oakland, Maine, (Rte. 137), at 1:00 p.m. on 29, 2010. A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
