Obituary: Landry, Marian Marie Cambre Our dear mother passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. LA. Born 26, 1926 in St. Gabriel, LA, she was a homemaker and long time resident of Dutchtown, LA. She is survived by her daughter Gwen Landry of Dutchtown, two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn Landry (Janis) of Slaughter, LA., and Lloyd Pinky Landry (Stephanie) of Dutchtown, six grandchildren, Dustin Landry (Cathy) of Gonzales, Christopher Landry of Houston, TX., Eric Landry (Cadi) of Newport, TN., Adrienne Landry of Billings, MT., Aaron Landry (Evanna) of Central, LA., and Alana Landry of Slaughter. Also survived by five great grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, and Hannah Landry of Newport, TN., and Link and Adley Landry of Gonzales, LA. And one great great grandchild, Ryder Lynn Landry of Newport, TN., and a sister, Laura Jean Hope of Metairie, LA. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lucian Landry, and her parents, George Cambre and Edna Hoffman, ten sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers are: Eric Landry, Dustin Landry, Christopher Landry, Aaron Landry, James Pouncey, Jr., and Patrick Pat Arceneaux. Obituary: A native and resident of Belle Rose, Marguerite passed away at her home on , 17, 2015 at the age of 92 surrounded by family. Born 14, 1922, she attended beauty school in New Orleans after graduating Belle Rose High School. While a wife, mother, and homemaker, Marguerite enjoyed, for many years, volunteering her time to the Assumption ARC and as a hairdresser to Heritage Manor in Napoleonville. She served St. Jules Catholic Church in earlier years preparing many children for First Holy Communion. In later years, she enjoyed fishing and relaxing at Camp Amnesia on Lake Verret and took pleasure in her casino trips. She is survived by daughters, Vickie and her spouse, Lee H. Cafiero, Jr, of Houston, Texas; Joy and her spouse, Mike Pizzolatto of Batesville, Arkansas; sons Neil and his spouse, Elmira Mabile Landry of Bayou Corne, LA; Jim and his spouse, Sally Landry, and Danny and his spouse, Brigette Landry, all of Belle Rose, Louisiana. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kara Cafiero Parker and her spouse, Ben, and their daughter, Kaylin; Leah Cafiero; Bert Landry and his spouse, Kristi, and their children, Jake and Andrew; Benjamin Landry and his spouse, Laura, and their children, Brady, Braxton, and Blake; Timothy Landry and his spouse, Lindsey, and their children, Ava, Grayson, and Julia; Jimbo Landry and his spouse, Nobie, and their children Landon, Lauren, and Amelia; Brad Landry and his spouse, Melissa, and their children Abby and Alex; Ted Landry and his spouse, Dusty, and their children Haylie and Hagen; Michael Pizzolatto and his spouse, Danielle, and their children Gabriel, Cecilia, and Dominic; Sarah Pizzolatto; Luke Pizzolatto and his spouse, Cara, and their children, Noelle and Corinne; Jacob Landry and his spouse, Michelle, and their daughter, Lily Cate; Brandon Landry; and Jordon Landry. She is also survived by a brother, William Beagle Dupre. Preceded in death by her husband Neil D. Obituary: Marcelle Barbazan Landry passed away peacefully on , 2, 2014 at the age of 89. Marcelle is preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Landry Jr. and grandson Daniel Ecklund. She is survived by her children; Michael Edmond Landry (Stephanie), Keith Patrick Landry, Andree Landry Lachney (Floyd Sr.), David Anthony Landry, and Renee Landry Ecklund; grandchildren, Shelby Landry, Carly Landry, Derek Landry, Floyd Lachney Jr., Christopher Lachney, Elizabeth Lachney, Ryan Lachney, and Alex Ecklund; great grandchildren, Brandon, Brooke Bryce and Gillian. Marcelle was also preceded in death by her parents: Andre A. Barbazan; Jeanne J. Roques and stepfather Oswald C. Capener. Marcelle was a longtime resident of the French Quarter where she began St. Louis Cathedral at 3 years old (Grammar School), Marcelle also lived in Gentilly, New Orleans East and Whitney Place Condominiums in Metairie before moving to Summerfield Retirement Community, a home that she described as “being on a cruise that doesn’t leave the dock”. Marcelle also attended Ursuline Academy (High School), Webster – St. Louis, MO (B.S. – Dietetics 1945), did an internship in 1946 at Polyclinic Hospital– New York, NY before receiving her M.S. in Nutrition from State University of Iowa – Iowa City, Iowa. Marcelle’s many accomplishments including her work as Dietician at Hotel Dieu and Baptist Hospital, Food Service Manager at Orleans Parish Public Schools, Food Service and Nutrition Department Director at the Louisiana State Department of Education and Assistant Director of Child Nutrition Program for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Marcelle was also affiliated with the American Dietetics Association, was a member of and served as President of the Louisiana State Dietetics Association and was on the Board of Directors of Foundation Services of Louisiana and she was an active member of St. Angela Merici parish for many years. Marcelle loved to do volunteer work, socialize, spend time with her family, and travel with her lifelong friend Mildred Finney. She loved the Saints, LSU and happy hour celebrations with friends that often included wine and martinis with anchovy olives! Special thanks to Summerfield Retirement Community management and the entire staff for their excellent care and love and kindness. Obituary: Madeleine Delaune Landry, 90, a native of Lockport, resident of Thibodaux and former resident of Metairie, Louisiana, died 14, 2015. Visitation will be held at Thibodaux from 5PM to 9PM on , 18, 2015. Visitation continues at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral from 9AM to 10AM on , 19, 2015 until Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment to follow at Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans. She is survived by her four children, Gary M. Landry and wife Susan Barilleaux Landry of Metairie, La, Dr. Therese Landry DeMouy and husband Dr. Jeffrey DeMouy of Baton Rouge, La., Anne Landry Lagarde and husband Kevin of Thibodaux, La, Gregory M. Landry, Sr. and wife Claudia Gutierrez Landry of Kennesaw, GA.; eight grandchildren: Justin, Julie and Ashley Lagarde; Laura, Robert and Thomas DeMouy; and Raquel and Gregory Landry, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Emmalyn Claire Molaison and Ezequiel Josue Landry. One of eleven children, Mrs. Landry was born in Lockport, La and is survived by one sibling, Alfred C. Delaune, Sr. of Lockport. She was preceded in death by her former husband Dr. Gordon J. Landry, her parents Josephine Claudet Delaune and Sidney Delaune Sr.; sisters Bernice D. Coates, Josae Dee D. Chetta Nunez, Myrtle Nanie Delaune, Miriam D. Clement; and brothers Alvin Delaune, Sidney Delaune Jr., Jules Delaune, Ferdinand Delaune and Henry Delaune. Madeleine Leenie (as her friends, family, and grandchildren called her) served in World War II in the Womens Army Corps, and worked for the Department of Defense after the war. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nicholls State University at the age of 50, then began her career with the Louisiana Department of Social Services. She was instrumental in the placing of hundreds of children into the Foster and Adoption programs throughout South Louisiana. She will be forever remembered as the loving mother of her own four adopted children. There are no words which describe the joy, love and devotion she has shown us and hundreds of other children. The world was a better place with Leenie in it, and she will be sorely missed. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Manor for their years of kindness and care, and especially caregivers Evelyn, Tara, and Shirley. |

Bert Landry Sr.; four daughters Debra Tanner (Rhett), Gail Landry, Janet Louviere, Lynn Marionneaux (Kenny), and Joy Lynn Duet (Brad); two sons Bruce Landry (Gloria) Retired Master Sergeant (USAF) and First Sergeant Matthew Landry (US Army) (Lori); four sisters Shirley Aucoin, Anna Belle Landry, Virgis Acosta, and Geneva Edwards; three brothers Wilson, Nelson, and Gilbert Landry;11 grandchildren Keri Landry, Dominique John Paul Landry, Bruce Landry Jr., Larry Sanchez Jr., Jamie Tabor, Gena Louviere, Casey Marionneaux, Dylan Marionneaux, Matthew Landry Jr, Jay Marionneaux, and Darren Marionneaux; 12 great-grandchildren Jordan Landry, Jensen Landry, Amber Sanchez, Collin Louviere, Christian Scribner, Blain Tabor, Madison Marionneaux, Tyler Albert, Payten Albert, Clayton Marionneaux, Kyle Marionneaux, and Jocelyn Marionneaux. Sister of Tito Gomez (wife, Itala), Oscar Gomez and the late Anibal Gomez, Jorge Gomez, Gustavo Gomez, Nina Morejon, Julieta Gomez, Herman Gomez and Petion Gomez. Daughter of the late Carlos Gomez and Ana Luisa Mantellini Gomez. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Landry was a retired vice consul for the Venezuelan Consulate and was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church. services were private. Interment was in St. Louis No. 3.
