Obituary: Geraldine Larsen Landry, native and resident of Baton Rouge, went to heaven on , 7, 2014. She lived a full and rewarding 74 years. She is survived by her brother, James Jim Larsen and wife Frances Larsen, children Jimmy and Erica, and their families. Also survived by her daughter Kim Landry Blanchard and her husband Freddie Blanchard; their son, Matthew Regira; daughter, Geri Lynn Landry LeBlanc and her husband Greg Leblanc; their five children, Gregory Leblanc and his wife Wanda, and their two daughters Gracie and Emma Clayton; son, Alex LeBlanc and his wife, Kristin; daughter, Hannah Leblanc; son, Taylor LeBlanc and son, Johnny Leblanc. She is also survived by her son, Roger Lazard Landry and Melissa Missy Daigre and their children, Caleb Hebert and Addison Landry. She was blessed with many friends but especially her dearest, lifelong friends, Juliette Massey, Sandra Stevens, and Dorothy Dot Patterson. She raised her family in Plaquemine, LA. while working at Allemania Chemical Corporation. She ventured on to owning and managing Maternity Boutique in Baton Rouge for 8 years. She was an avid golfer and taught her grandchildren how to play and drive a golf cart. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, hats, and afghans for her loved ones. She also donated hats to cancer patients. She lived her later years in Houma, LA. helping Geri Lynn and Greg with their children and their automobile dealerships. She spent the last year of her life in Addis, LA. with her sons family, Roger, Missy, Caleb, and Addison, as well as her daughters family, Kim, Freddie, and Matt. The family would like to thank HOSPICE IN HIS CARE, especially Pierre Baker, RN and caregivers Wendy and Shirley for all of their care and support. God Bless Mom. Visitation will be held on 9, 2014 from 5PM-9PM at Greenoaks . Visitation will resume on 10, 2014 from 10AM until Service at 12PM. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. Obituary: I have fought a good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept my faith." 2 Timothy 4:7. Now at rest with our Lord, Gary Paul Landry, age 72, a native and resident of Belle Rose, passed away on , 16, 2017 at his residence in Belle Rose, La. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from Dow Chemical in Plaquemine after 33 years of service as an electrician. Gary was a man who loved his family dearly and taught his children and grandchildren to be respectful of and thankful for all Gods gifts. He was generous with his time and talents spending many hours cooking Shrimp and Crab Stew for local church festivals and monthly for St. Judes Childrens Hospital. In addition to his generous nature, Gary will be remembered for his love of fishing and his appreciation for the outdoors, playing cards and bowling. Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Karen Cappen Landry, his parents Fernand and Lena. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Gail Chamberlain Landry, his brother Charles (Brenda) Landry, and his sisters Charlotte (Donald) Blanchard, Barbara (Alvin) Gros, and Eleanor Pug (Philip) Babin. Gary is also survived by his three sons and their wives, Marty and Donna Newchurch Landry, Mike and Holly Domingue Landry, Craig and Kimberly Edwards Landry as well as his three step-children and their spouses Romeo and Kim Thibodeaux Villarreal, Charles and Stephanie Grisaffe Thibodeaux, and Jeff and Summer Thibodeaux Knight. He is survived by thirteen grandchildren, Tucker, Claire, and Camille Landry; Lauren, Allen, and Jake Landry; Paul Landry; Blake and Garrett Jones, Josh and Trey Thibodeaux, Kate and Karlie Knight; and two great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Hanson and staff and St. Joseph Hospice for their love and care. Visitation will be held on , 21, 2017 at St. Jules Catholic Church from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial to follow in church cemetery. Obituary: Captain Francis X Landry passed away on , 9, 2014. Captain Landry was born in New Orleans in 1922. He was the son of Florence Higgins Landry, an Irish born American and Colonel Robert O Landry, USA Calvary, who was 1 of 14 children. Mrs. Florence and Col. Landry were married in New Orleans in 1917, they went on to have Francis and his 2 sisters; Claire G. Landry Brocato and Flora Mae Landry. Claire was born in 1920 and assed in 1993, she was married to Nunzio Brocato in 1942 and they had three children; James R Brocato, Bobette Brocato Dudley and Brenda Mimi Brocato. Flora was born in 1924 and passed in 1931. Captain Landry was also survived by many cousins, friends and confident, Reverend Father ONeil Landry of Franklin, La. Captain Landry worked at Higgins, Inc. prior to enlisting in the United States Marine Corp on 26 1942, he served in the Pacific Ocean theater of World War II. Captain Landry returned to Louisiana following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corp. Captain Landry was best described as an Entrepreneur and an accomplished Equestrian Trainer as well as a canine trainer. Captain Landry was a 29 ½ year veteran of the St. Charles Parish Sheriffs Office. He was fundamental in forming the St. Charles Posse which evolved into todays St. Charles Search and Rescue. Services will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, La on , 13, 2014. Visitation will be from 9AM till 12 Noon with a funeral Mass at 12 Noon.
