Obituary: Freda Ann BILLIE Lawrence , 88, passed away Dec. 19, 2014 at the Twin Falls with her daughter at her side. Billie was born 30, 1926 to Ernest and Cecil Crumbliss in Neosho, Mo. Billie married Chester C. Lawrence on Nov. 9, 1942. While working for Gateway Trailer Billie decided to take a correspondence course in Floral Design. It was her passion. She worked for Fox Floral and later Magic Floral of Twin Falls. She loved her yard and flowers and took great pride in both. Billies pride and joy in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chester and son Wayne, brothers Paul and Ray, and sisters Fern, and Sandy. Billie is survived by her son David (Raedell) Lawrence, daughter Pam (Dave) Livingston, sister Barbra Bower, brothers Tommy Crumbliss and LeRoy (Cotton) Crumbliss, five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a lot of very special friends. We will miss her forever. Our family would like to thank all of the staff and many new friends that Mom made during her stay at the Twin Falls , Your , Love and support will never be forgotten, Mom loved all of you. At Moms request there will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held on , 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. arrangements are under the care of Reynolds Chapel. |

Obituary: Margaret (Bradbury) Lawler was born 18, 1923 in Nottingham, England to Percy and Millie (Packer) Bradbury. She attended Forest Fields and Scotholme Schools for Girls in Nottingham. She was employed as a clerk/typist by Blower Brothers and Bairswear Ltd. During World War II she was employed by the London Midland and Scottish Railway . On 27, 1944 she was united in marriage with 1st Lt. Murray Lawler of Temvik, ND, USA at the Mansfield Road Baptist Church, Nottingham, England. In 1946 Margaret came to the United States of America on the SS Bridgeport, a hospital ship that was given to the USA as reparations from Germany after World War I. Margaret left Nottingham with many other war brides. The first stop was at an army base in Tidworth, Hampshire for the physical exam and to see if her papers were in order. It was to be an overnight stay but she remained there 7 days. She eventually went by train to Southampton, England and boarded the SS Bridgeport. It was a small ship and because of storms in the north Atlantic Ocean, it went south then back up to New York Harbor, arriving there 22, 1946 after being at sea for 13 days. A three-day train ride brought Margaret to Bismarck, North Dakota on a cold snowy night. spending the night in Bismarck with friends, Margaret and Murray made their way to his parents farm in Emmons , ND. Margaret and Murray lived with his parents, where Margaret learned to be a farmers wife. She was always grateful to her mother-in-law Regenia for being a wonderful help and teacher. In 1948, Margaret and Murray established a farm in a pasture at the south end of the Horsehead Valley in Emmons . Together they created a beautiful farmstead, which won many local and state conservation awards. She learned to milk cows, drive a car and run a tractor. raised chickens and delivered approximately 3000 eggs per week to various businesses for 20 years, except during the blizzard of 1966. She was proud to be a farmers wife, given that she came from the big city. Margaret became a United States citizen on 15, 1950. She was baptized into the Seventh-Day Adventist Church by Elder Sherbondy in 1956. Murray and Margaret remained on the farm until 2003. Murrays illness and death, she moved to Mandan ND. In 2009 she moved to Boise, Idaho where she remained until her death. She leaves to mourn the following children: Jerome Murray (Martha) Lawler of Grand Rapids, MN, Ralph Harrison Lawler of Linton, ND, Kay Jean Yochim of Berrien , MI, Frank Harvey (Kathy) Lawler, Edmond, OK, Frances Margaret (Lawrence) Rogien of Meridian, ID, James Douglas (Sharon) Lawler of Mandan, ND, Alan John Lawler of Mandan, ND, Helen Ann (Lindell) Timothy of Meridian, ID and William Terrence (Hazel) Lawler of Kuna, ID. In addition, she leaves 24 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren and as well as some great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Millie; her husband, Murray, her brother, Douglas, and her sister, Doris. She went to sleep on 15, 2017 to await the call of her Saviour. Visitation will be held , 25, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Weigel , Mandan, ND. Services will be held 26, 2017 at 10:30 CST at the Mandan Seventh- Day Adventist Church, 4500 Old Red Trail, Mandan, ND. Interment will follow at the North Dakota Veterans . In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to REACH International at PO Box 187 Spencerville, MD 20868 in Margarets memory. |
