Obituary: Miss Sekinat Olamitundun Lawani was born in Lagos, Nigeria on the 2nd of , 1992 to Late Olatunde and Titilola Lawani. She was a beautiful young lady who loved to cook and sing. She began to play the piano as early as the age of five and became a very talented piano player. She Graduated from Oneida Baptist Institute (OBI) in Oneida KY in May 2010 as an outstanding citizen and scholar. At OBI she was an active member of the school choir and won several awards. In 2010, she enrolled at Knox in Galesburg, Illinois where she took up a major in International Relations and a minor in Business Management. While at Knox, she was very active and passionate about extracurricular activities, including The Harambee Club (African Students Group), where she served as the President of the organization until her passing. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority, a Knox Alumni Ambassador, and volunteered in different capacities on campus. Tundun was a blessing to everyone around her, and had the most infectious smile. She was a confident person with a very optimistic attitude toward life, and impacted so many people positively. Tundun was also most lovable and endearing, with a heart for service and a passion to give and nurture. These traits made her stand out as the favorite in most circles she found herself in. Above all, Tundun loved the Lord and served Him faithfully until her passing. Tundun went to be with the Lord on the morning of , 28th, 2012 when she was struck by a drunk driver while walking with friends on her college campus. She is survived by her Mother, Helen; Sisters, Omolara and Olawunmi; brothers Oladipo and Itunoluwa; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents. Celebration of Life services are to be held on , 2, 2012 at 2:00pm at New City Church, 320 Dividend Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the church. Burial will follow at 3:30pm at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 2090 Hwy 54 W, in Peachtree City. Obituary: William Fleming Law, Jr., age 80, died 17, 2017 after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer. He was born in a, GA on 31, 1936, the son of the late William Fleming Law and Caroline Brown Law. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Joan May Law and his sister, Amy Law Banks. He graduated from Georgia Tech, served in the U.S. Army, and then began his real estate career in 1961 with Adair Realty and Loan . He joined Cauble & in 1970, now known as Colliers International- Atlanta, and served as President for twenty-four years becoming chairman in 1995. He served on numerous local and national real estate and civic boards, and chaired the Boards of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, The Study Hall and the Alliance for Christian Media. He was a two-time recipient of the Alvin Cates Award from the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors for Outstanding Transactions, one with partner, Bob Allen. He was also a recipient in 2014 of the Carter Mathis award from the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Realtors for community service. He was the founding member of the Georgia Chapter of the Society and Industrial Realtors and received the Father Austin Ford award from The Study Hall. Bill was an avid tennis player with an appreciation for the outdoors, having climbed six mountains ranging from 13,700 Feet to 19,000 feet in the U.S., Mexico and Africa. In his honor, Colliers International- Atlanta funded the construction of a Habitat for Humanity house in 2016, in cooperation with Families First and Havertys Furniture . He is survived by his daughter, Amy Law Raley of Evergreen, CO and her husband, Zak, and their four children, Savanna May Raley, Sheridan Odessa Raley, Sawyer Ann Raley and Soren Tyr Raley; his son, Philip Fleming Law of Atlanta, GA and his wife, Laura Saffer Law and their two children, Katherine O'Brien Law and William Fleming Law, II. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 am on , 22, 2017 at The Cathedral of St. Philip, with a reception afterward in Child Hall at the church. Obituary: COLUMBIA - Theodore “Ted” Wannamaker Law III died peacefully in his sleep early on , 30, 2017 in Wadley, Ga. Born on 31, 1933, in Orangeburg, S.C., Mr. Law was the son of the late Theodore Wannamaker Law, Jr. and Elizabeth James Peterkin Law. He graduated from Columbia’s Lower Richland High School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina. He earned his juris doctor from USC’s School of Law, graduating second in his class and serving as a member of the distinguished Wig and Robe Society. He also proudly served in the United States Navy. Mr. Law loved watching and participating in sports as a young man, especially football, basketball, and baseball. Mr. Law is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Theodore Wannamaker Law IV and Joan Gross Law of Columbia; his daughter and son-in-law, Laura Heath Gary (of former wife, Anne Dickson) and Bill Gary of Decatur, Ga.; his son-in-law, David Love of Columbia; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Law Meinelt and Carl Meinelt of Cary, N.C.; grandchildren, Beverly Love Covert (Eric), Lauren Love (Nikki), Sarah Law, Katie Law, Thomas Law, Henry Gary, and Georgia Gary; great-grandchildren, Charles Akridge (Heather), Addie Covert, and Nicholas Covert; one great-great-grandson, Brayden Akridge; and niece and nephew, Rachael Ragin and David Ramsey (Alex). He is preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Love, and former wife, Mary Martin Law. Family and loved ones will gather for a graveside service , 1, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Peterkin Family , across the street from St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Fort Motte, SC.
