Obituary: Peggy S. Kingston, 64, was born 3, 1951, and passed away on 18, 2015, at her family home in Piñon, Colo. Preceded in death by son, Charles Chacon; parents, Clarence and Sarah Faye Benesch; brothers, Joe Stevens and Harold Benesch. Survived by brother, Donald (Phyllis) Stevens; sisters-in-law, Alene Benesch and Ruth Stevens; niece, Kathleen (Tim) Vaughan; and many other nieces and nephews scattered throughout the United States. Peggy graduated from Pueblo High School and Pueblo Junior (now PCC). She was employed at Windwind Village as an LPN. She had a very special place in her heart for seniors needing care and she had a great deal of patience to carry it out. Before her mother died, Peggy took care of her for ten years. Peggy fed the birds and played ball with her dogs. She loved her pets and those of her family, most of which were shelter animals, and they returned love to her. Before her health started failing, she played the piano and was a talented artist, although she didn think her work was good. For Peggy, family always came first and she will be missed by many. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. , 29, 2015, in the Montgomery & Steward Reception Hall. In lieu of food or flowers, donations can be made to PAWS, P.O. Obituary: Dorothy Jensen Kingsmore 9, 1931 – 23, 2014 Dorothy Kingsmore, age 83, passed away on , 23, 2014. She was a resident of Colorado Springs and formerly of Estes Park, Colorado and Grove City, Ohio. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Dorothy was born on 9, 1931 in Rio De Janeiro, Argentina to the late Knud and Aldyth (Nichols) Jensen. She attended Dana in Blair, Nebraska, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from University of South Dakota. She later received her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Her true passion was working with young children. She taught kindergarten for many years. Dorothy married Gerald L. Kingsmore, II on 16, 1958 in Denver, Colorado. Together they raised two children, Jerry and Amy. moved to Estes Park after retirement in 1986, and wintered in Green Valley, Arizona for many years. loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Gerald passed away in 2002, Dorothy moved to Colorado Springs to be near her family. Dorothy was an active member of the Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Monument, Colorado. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Patti) Kingsmore of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren: Konnor and Zachary Kingsmore, and Ryan and Nicholas MacDonald; and a sister, Fran (John) Schuyler of Rochester, New York. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald L. Kingsmore, II; her daughter, Amy MacDonald; and her siblings, George Jensen and Mary Jensen. A memorial service will be held at Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Estes Park, Colorado on , 15, 2014 at 11:00am. In Lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Estes Valley Land Trust or the Rocky Mountain Nature Association. |
