Obituary: Lloyd E. Klas, age 76, died , 25, 2013 at the Golden Living in Beaver Dam. Visitation for Lloyd will be at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on , 27, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church on at 12:00 Noon and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael J. Erwin. Burial will be at St. Peter\s in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge , Wisconsin. Lloyd Erwin Klas was born on 22, 1936 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Ervin and Helen (Kostolny) Klas. graduating from Beaver Dam High School in 1955, he served in the US Air Force until 1959. On 11, 1962, Lloyd was united in marriage with Carol Bohl at St. Peter\s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. He worked in the engineering departments at Metalfab for 22 years, Apache Stainless Steel for 5 years, as well as other metal fabricating businesses in the Beaver Dam area. Lloyd was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Survivors include his wife, Carol Klas of Beaver Dam; two children, Jerome (Becky) Klas and Jean (Michael) Kraintz; four grandchildren, Trevor and Gavin Klas and Aaron and Austin Kraintz; two sisters, Arlene Nowak of Beaver Dam and Barbara (John) Pitzlin of au; a brother-in-law, Don Jaehnke of Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and his sister-in-law, Richard and Laura Klas; and two sisters, Carolyn in infancy and Patricia Jaehnke. Obituary: Lucy M. Klarner, 85, of Seymour, passed away morning, 2, 2016, at Good Shepherd with her children by her side. She was born 14, 1931, daughter of the late George and Theresa (Vickman) Lindsley. On 9, 1950 she was united in marriage to Robert Walleye Klarner in Isaar. He preceded her in death on 30, 1989. Lucy was a member of St. John Catholic Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In her early years she enjoyed traveling with Bob. She also enjoyed bowling and sewing. She is survived by her children: Joseph (Kim) Klarner, Seymour; Chris (Murry/Bo) Skenandore, Seymour; grandchildren: Tyler Klarner, Green Bay; Kayla Klarner, Green Bay; Megan (Scott) Klarner, Madison; Derek (Alaina) Klarner, Denmark; Jennifer Skenandore; Green Bay; Cheyenne (Sarah) Skenandore, Racine; Heather (Chad) Oskey, Seymour; Shawn (Ashley) Skenandore, Seymour; Jolene (fiancé Danny) Skenandore, Seymour; and great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Dyllon, Jaden, Kiley, Mayah, Dakota, Hailey, Ashtyn, Korbyn, and Peyton. She is further survived by Bobs family: Gladys Klarner, Rosie Laabs, Melvin (Nancy) Klarner, and Marie DeKeyser. Lucy is preceded in death by her son David, and great-granddaughter, Morgan; sister, Martha (Ray) Verhagen. Also preceded in death by Bobs family: Edward (Betty) Klarner, Herbert Klarner, Norman (Betty) Klarner, Mildred (Clyde) Campbell, and Robert Laabs. Obituary: Gilbert F. Gib Klarner, age 91, passed away on , 4, 2012, with his loving family by his side, at the Valley VNA in Neenah. Gilbert was born the son of the late Frank and Martha (Schoettler) Klarner on May 2, 1921, in Appleton. He moved to Neenah at a very early age and went through the Neenah school system, graduating from NHS in 1939. Gilbert worked for KC for several years, then for Hafemeister Machine until he entered the USMC during WWII. He served in the USMC about 3 ½ years in the Solomon Islands and at Cherry Point, NC in Marine Aviation. Gilbert was discharged from the USMC as a Technical Sergeant. Later on in 1947 he enlisted in the USAF, during which he proudly served as a military escort, escorting the remains of those killed in WWII overseas to their parents, wives or relatives for local burial or to a National . He then served as a flight engineer in Japan and Korea during the Korean War. He was discharged as a Technical Sergeant after 4 years of service. He was very proud to continue his affiliation by attending military reunions throughout the country. On 17, 1951, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Betty Yanggen at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. he was married, he was employed in the heating, air conditioning, and pipefitting profession for many years and was a member of U.A. Local 400 in Appleton. He retired in 1985, but remained an active union member for 50 years. He greatly enjoyed the sport of motorcycling for many years on his Harleys. He was a member of the Appleton and Green Bay HOG (Harley Owners Group) Chapters. He enjoyed many trips to HOG rallies all over the country, as well as participating in charity rides and events. His special yearly trek was riding his bike out to Sturgis. |

Obituary: Dawn I. Klarner, age 81, passed away on , 15, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. On 1, 1930, Dawn Ilene was born to the late Clifford and Eva (Bellack) Frost. Dawn had worked as a waitress for many years. Recently she enjoyed being with her friends of Lakeshore Commons, playing cards, such as Uno, or other games like Yatzee or Bingo. Dawn also enjoyed getting out and going to any restaurant. She also liked to sit down by the water in Menasha and watch the boats go through. Dawn will be missed by her loving children: Gary (Sue) Klarner and Diane (Jerry) Olson; 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Frost; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leroy (Rosemary) Frost and a sister, Kathleen (George) Heindle; and the father of her children, James Klarner who was forever in her heart. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on , 18, 2011 at Martens-Laemmrich , 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Black Creek in Black Creek. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. |
