Obituary: Services for Vickie Louise Knowles will be held at 10:00 am on , May 28, 2015, at Moore Chapel with Joe Taylor and Tillie Bergan presiding. Burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on , May 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Knowles passed away on , May 22, 2015 in Arlington at the age of 69. Vickie was born on a , 27, 1945 in Bowie, Texas. She became a hairdresser and was joyfully engaged in this work right up until her passing. She spent most of her working years at Elgan's Park Place Salon in Pantego. She was an avid supporter of Mission Arlington and spent countless hours every year making bows and Christmas wreaths for them. Her other great loves in life were her husband Cecil Knowles and her cat Bubba. Mrs. Knowles was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Taylor, her husband Cecil in 2004, and by one grandson, Cory Hill on 9, 2007. Survivors include her mother, Jean Taylor of Bowie, sister, Julie Johnson of Wichita Falls, brother, Jeff Taylor of California, brother, Joe Taylor of Nevada, son David Hill of Arlington, daughter, Michele Hill of Kentucky, two grandchildren; Jamie Harris of Euless and Anna Hill of Arlington, and one great-granddaughter, Kylie Harris of Euless. |
