Obituary: Steve was born on 12, 1960 and passed away 17, 2015 after a long illness. Steve was gifted with great energy and enthusiasm and an easy way with anyone he met. His infectious personality led him to befriend all he encountered. You can look it up in the dictionary....Thats Steves picture next to the definition of Great Guy. Steve loved to work with his hands, whether on his beloved Mako boats, in the kitchen, or on hardwood floors. He delighted giving hand made offbeat signs as gifts to his friends and family. Steve was married for over 20 years to his high school sweetheart Leslie. many years they were blessed with a beautiful son, Carson. Steve was a devoted husband and father until his illness limited his abilities. Steve graduated from Highland Park High School in 1979 and attended Stephen F. Austin University where he pledged Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Steve was an avid outdoorsman his entire life. He loved all hunting and fishing but especially duck hunting with his brother Bruce. His favorite place in the world was Door , Wisconsin. He could be found there either fishing for salmon on Lake Michigan or puttering around the old house and property originally built by his great-grandfather. His family is comforted in the knowledge that Steve is in Gods loving arms and that his body and mind are finally free from the curse of alcohol. Steve is pre-deceased by his father, William G. Klingman. He is survived by his ex-wife Leslie Williams Klingman, his son Carson William Klingman, his mother Marilyn Anderson Klingman, his brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Barbara Klingman, nieces Anne Klingman Holmes, Elizabeth Klingman DuFlo, and Mary Frances Klingman. He also leaves behind both his Anderson side (Anderson, Hendrix, and Dawson) and Klingman side (Rush and Milici), aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. He is also survived by his former wife's family Cal and Jeannie Peterka, and Lorrie and Walter Beck and their children. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Incarnation, 3966 McKinney Ave, Dallas on 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel. Obituary: Kay Ruth Klingler (née Weiser), 74, formerly of Keller, TX, died in Plano, TX, on 5, 2014, after an extended illness. Kay, the eldest child and only daughter of the late John H. and Ruth E. (Couch) Weiser, was born in Oil City, PA, on 30, 1940. She graduated in 1958 from Emlenton (PA) High School, where she was an honor student and selected to receive an award from The Chamber of Commerce on the basis of character, scholarship, leadership and personality. Kay, the class salutatorian, was an accomplished cheerleader and majorette, teaching baton in the summer months. Kay completed the three-year program at The Presbyterian Hospital School of in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1961. Prior to starting her family, she was employed as a registered nurse at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. On 26, 1961, she married Richard H. Klingler, who survives and resides in Keller. Her husbands career with what is now ExxonMobil Chemical necessitated that the family briefly relocate to France in 1971, and a highlight of Kays life was the 6 months she spent living in a small village in Normandy. Kay was a lifelong United Methodist, serving at various times as a leader of the Methodist Youth Fellowship and President of the United Methodist Women. During her life, she was a member of congregations in Pennsylvania, New Providence, NJ, Baton Rouge, LA, and Texas. In addition to her husband, Kay is survived by her three children and their spouses: David A. (Michelle) Klingler and Marianne (Jack) Schnell, each of Plano, TX, and Jennifer (Joe) Ellis of Katy, TX. She is also survived by three granddaughters of whom she was particularly fond, Elizabeth Klingler, Cori Schnell, and Katie Ellis, and by a brother Jack T. (Susie) Weiser of Oil City. were handled privately, and no services will be held. The family suggests that donations be made in Kays memory to the Alzheimers Association. |

Obituary: Larry Klinger of San Antonio, TX, age 63, passed away , 31, 2006. Larry was a lifelong resident of San Antonio. Member of the American Concrete Institute ACI and had been employed for 42 years by Vulcan Materials Corp.. Larry was a racecar enthusiast having driven a dragster from 1961-1969 in various locations. Over the last 20 years he was involved in dirt track racing. He and his wife were passionate racecar owners. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Catherine and sister, Sarah. Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Babin Klinger; daughters, Kristi Velasquez and husband Rick and their sons Joshua and Jacob Velasquez, and Kelli Gonzales and husband Michael and her daughter Kamryn Gonzales; brother Joe Klinger of Springfield, IL; nephew Joey and wife Rozanne and their daughter Molly; niece Mary and husband Brian, and niece Nora; and many relatives and friends and the neighbors of Brenton Woods whom he dearly loved. Obituary: Gloria Appio Klinger entered into eternal life on 24, 2017. She was born 11, 1931 in Morristown, New Jersey. Gloria graduated from St. Margarets school in 1944 and from Morristown High School in 1948. Moved to Florida in 1989, joined St. Josephs Catholic Church and was active in the Bereavement Ministry, taught CCD and was involved in RCIA. Became a lector at both daily and weekend Masses, ministered to the sick, was actively involved in the St. Vincent DePaul Society and joined the Order of Discalced Carmelites , 2000. In of 2001 became a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida and continued to minister in the same ministries as in St. Josephs. In 2002 she and her husband John joined the Kairos-Torch youth prison ministry at the Brevard Correctional Institution. Gloria was a member of the Woman of the Moose Lodge #1764 in Sebastian, Florida. In 2004 she became a member of the National Council of Catholic Woman at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. In , 2005 moved to Flowery Branch, Georgia and became a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was also active in all of her ministries there. In the process of this move she transferred to the Atlanta group of the Order of Discalced Carmelites but due to geographic reasons moved to the Lawrenceville, Georgia group of Discalced Carmelites two years later. Gloria was a member of the Resurrection Choir at Prince of Peace when it was established in 2011. In 2006 Gloria joined the Red Hat Society called Diamonds in the Red and she was known as Lady of the Dance. In 2014 Gloria and John moved to Katy, Texas and joined St Edith Stein Catholic Church and remained there until she entered Eternal Life. Gloria is survived by her husband John whom she married in 1988 and two adult children from a previous marriage: Anna Maria (Bonnie) Barrella of Maryland and Anthony Barrella of Katy, Texas and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 am at St. Edith Stein Catholic Church, 3311 N Fry Road, Katy, Texas on 30, 2017 . Obituary: Ellen Ruth Klingner 9,1950 – 23rd, 2013 Ellen was born in Hillsboro, Oregon to Kenneth and Mildred Travis. She married Dean Klingner 13, 1968. She graduated from Gresham High School, attended classes at Mt. Hood Community , and attended Portland sports classes for youth and a multitude of baseball and softball umpire clinics. She worked for: Dea’s restaurant, Arcoa Inc., U-Haul, Dartell, Neptune Electronics, owned D & E Mobile Services and Buttons-Now.com. Ellen enjoyed belonging to St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Hobbies included tennis, boating, motorcycles and ATVs, baseball and softball coaching and umpiring, animals, camping and car shows. Ellen was an excellent cook, a Trail Blazer fan and a rabid NASCAR fan! Ellen is survived by her husband Dean Klingner, daughter Lisa Helzer and family, Charlie Klingner and family, 11 brothers and sisters, 7 grandchildren, 21 nieces and nephews and by Henry, her faithful service dog. Ellen was loved by all and will be missed by all. There was a celebration of life picnic before her death and a family celebration of life after her cremation. Ellen’s goal was to live and die at home. There is no way to express enough gratitude to all of her Doctors, Nurses, Aids, Case Workers and Volunteers of: Kaiser Permanente, Kaiser Permanente Hospice, and Oregon Department of Human Services. There will be a memorial mass at St. Anne’s Catholic Church 9AM, , 26th 2013( 1015 SE 182nd Ave, Portland, Or 97233). Ellen died at home from a 40-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. In order to help conquer this horribly catastrophic disease, her husband Dean will be riding in Bike MS 2014 in memory of her and to support research efforts funded by the National MS Society.
