Obituary: Donald Alexander Kilgore, age 85, from Killeen, Texas went on to glory to be with our Lord and Savior 13, 2017 at the William Courtney Veterans , in Temple, Texas. He was born 30, 1931 in Franklin, Pennsylvania to Howard James and Leona Coulter Kilgore. He attended Rocky Grove High School in Franklin, PA, then attended Pittsburgh School of Trades and completed his Associate of Applied Science in Maintenance Technology from Central Texas . He served honorably in the US Army from 1949-1979 and later worked for the Department of Federal Housing. Donald Kilgore married the love of his life, Sonoko Yoshikawa on 26, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Kilgore and Lawrence Kilgore; and 5 sisters: Ruth ONeil, Mary Updyke, Grace ONeil, Florence Scrivens, and Alice Beatty. He is survived by his wife, Sonoko Yoshikawa Kilgore; sons: Donald Alexander Kilgore Jr. and wife Dael of Copperas Cove, TX, David Allen Kilgore and wife Kim of Santa Fe, TX, and Daniel Alton Kilgore of Killeen, TX; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Kilgore. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Killeen Memorial Baptist Church debt retirement fund in Donalds name. Obituary: Clarence Edward Buddy Kilgore went to be with his God and savior at the age of 63, on , 2, 2011 at Midland Memorial Hospital. Clarence was born 31, 1947 in El Paso Texas and was also was raised El Paso. He loved his God, his family and West Texas football. Clarence married Darlene Baker 20, 1966. were married for 21 years and had four wonderful boys, Michael, David, Pat and Brian. He then married his soul mate Cathy Ingmire Solley on 3, 1988, was married until his death and acquired three more fantastic boys, Jeremy, Jeff and Jason. You could never tell which sons were blood and which sons were not because they were all loved and treated the same. Buddy emphasized and taught them to love God work hard and to care for their families. He was the proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Clarence is a member of The Orchard Church of Midland Texas and is a man of great faith and walked with God in his heart. He loved with all he had and cared for anyone that he came in contact with. Even in his last days at his sickest time, he continued to serve and take care of his family. He was always giving far beyond the 100 percent. He was a volunteer for Hospice of the Southwest and Hospice, taking food to the terminally ill and taking them for doctor appointments. Clarence also worked for his church family when ever needed. Coached Pop Warner football and farm league baseball. He loved to work with the teens at church functions and playing different sports with them. Clarence was employed at Oil Research of Texas in outside sales. I know his customers will miss him dearly. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Gladys Kilgore. He is survived by his loving wife Cathy I. Kilgore; sons and daughter-in-laws are: Mike and Kimberly Kilgore, David and Angie Kilgore, Patrick and Michelle Kilgore, Brian and Deana Kilgore, Jeremy and Holly Ingmire, Jeff and Frieda Solley, and Jason and Carrie Solley; his brother Johnny Burt and Dinah Kilgore; sister Diana and Ronnie Melton; grandchildren: Jay Sherrill, Sarah Ford, Heather Kilgore, Shay Guinn, Lindsey Kilgore, Caitlyn Kilgore, Brandon Kauffman, Cameron White, Jacob Kilgore, Baylan Ingmire, Mikayla Reeves, Kyler Kilgore, Brittany Kilgore, Deven White, Johnathan Solley, Darcy Kilgore, Jewel Solley, Dayla Kilgore, Jaycee Solley, and Jayden Solley; and one great grandchild Tanner Epke. Obituary: Charles Hugh Kilgore passed from this earthly existence with peace to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by loving family and caregivers, on 24, 2014. He was 90 years old. Chuck was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania during the Great Depression. graduating high school with top grades and little money, he attended the University of Pittsburghs Erie Extension until called into service by the Army Air Corps. Before his training as a radar bombardier on B-24 Liberators, he met Marjorie Terry at a formal ball in Houston, cutting in on her dance partner. Due to training and deployment to the Pacific, they did not see much of each other during their courtship; that did not hinder eithers ability to write each other—often. Upon his return from the war, they were married in Houston and never were apart from each other again. Chuck resumed his engineering studies at the University of Michigan, earning his Chemical Engineering degree in 1948 due to hard work, a devoted wife, and the GI Bill. moved back to Houston where he obtained his Masters in Chemical Engineering from Rice Institute in 1950 as a Shell Fellow. His professional career was focused on refining petroleum products, working for Shell, Crown Central, and Tenneco. He retired in 1982. Marge and Chuck then moved to San Antonio in 1990. Although he was an avid and enthusiastic golfer, the focus of Chucks life was his faith and his family. He was an ordained Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church and served on the Session of churches in Arabi, Louisiana, Bellaire, Texas, and San Antonio, Texas. Most recently he was an active and faithful member of the Mens Bible Study and the Walkers Through the Bible School class at San Pedro Presbyterian Church. He was a life-long learner. Chucks parents, a brother, and two sisters predeceased him. He is survived by Marge, his loving and devoted wife of 68 years; his daughter Mary Marcotte and her husband Mike of Houston; his son Bob Kilgore and his wife Debbi of San Antonio; grandson Matt Marcotte of New York City; granddaughter Meg Wagman, her husband Ross and their son Linus of Manchester, U.K.; granddaughter Jennifer Casey, her husband Curtis and their son George of San Antonio, granddaughter Erin Heinze, her husband Kevin and their son Wyatt of San Antonio, and grandson Andrew Kilgore and his fiancée Celeste Cardenas of San Antonio.
