Obituary: James more affectionately known as Jim and he Milkman was born in Westwood, New Jersey on 7, 1931 and departed this life on 30, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas. Jim was the only child of Edith Frazier and James H. Keesey, Jr. He spent his childhood in New York City playing stickball in the streets and taking his allowance money to the New York City docks to see what kind of deals were to be had on sweet treats. Jim loved sports, especially baseball and football. As he grew he became a dedicated fan for the New York Giants football team and the Giants baseball team. You could find him every either at the game or in front of the TV rooting on his teams. Shortly after returning from active duty in the United States Army, Jim married Joan Beck on 28, 1955. He served his country during the Korean War. Jim and Joan went on to have five children: James IV, Marion, Linda, and Ronald. Jim spent most of his life as a milkman in the Wallington/Jersey City area of New Jersey. He was loved and admired by all his customers for his concern and caring manner. He was a family man and dedicated his life to ensuring that his wife Joan was well cared for and that his children learned respect and the value of hard work. He instilled a love of knowledge in his children and stressed the importance of treating everyone with love and respect. He was an example to his children. Jim will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was a special man and someone his children can only hope to emulate. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Joan and son James IV. He is survived by his children: Marion Richardson and Keesey-Scarl of San Antonio, Texas, Linda Hankel of Great Meadows, New Jersey, and Ronald Keesey of Haverhill, Massachusetts. |

Obituary: James ÂJimmy as he was more fondly known was born at Jewish Memorial Hospital in Manhattan, New York on 13, 1957. Jimmy was the first-born child of Joan and James Keesey III and departed this life on May 22, 2007 at the age of 50. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan. He is survived by his father, James H. Keesey III of San Antonio, Texas, sisters: Marion Richardson and husband, Max of San Antonio, Texas; Linda Hankel and husband, Harold of New Jersey, Keesey-Scarl and husband, James of San Antonio, Texas; two nephews, Jimmy and Justin Scarl of San Antonio, Texas; and brother, Ronald Keesey and wife, Debbie of Haskill, Massachusetts. Although the family moved to Sussex , New Jersey within a few years of his birth, he would stay true to his New York roots throughout his life. As a child he spent time with relatives who still resided in New York and definitely retained that New York accent! As we all know, you can take the boy out of Manhattan, but you cannot take Manhattan out of the boy. No matter where he went his New York accent was sure to distinguish him from the crowd, especially when he moved to San Antonio, Texas in the year 2000. Jimmy was a 1976 graduate of Newton High School, Newton, New Jersey. Shortly after graduation Jimmy began his 27 year career with Avdel Corporation in Parsippany, New Jersey as a machinist and union leader. One of the most important things in life to Jimmy was to ensure fair treatment of his co-workers during his tenure with Avdel. Avdel closed their New Jersey operations, he moved to San Antonio, Texas and was employed in the security industry. One of JimmyÂs passions in life was his love of politics and the legal system which eventually led to his studies at St. PhillipÂs in order to build a foundation for his pursuit of a degree in Forensic Science. Jimmy enjoyed those days spent with family on vacations, including those wonderful deep sea fishing opportunities with his father as a child, politics and spending time with family which included his teacup Chihuahua ÂChico. Jimmy will be fondly remembered by all for many things including his wonderful sense of humor. |

Obituary: Joe Keesee, 93, of Wichita Falls, passed away on 8, 2016. A funeral service will be held at Hampton Vaughan on , 12, 2016 at 2 p. m. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will greet friends and relatives at a visitation on , 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hampton Vaughan , 1917 Archer City Highway. Joe was born in Fort Worth on May 8, 1922, to Herman M. and Eva Lee (Owens) Keesee. His family moved to Wichita Falls in 1933. He attended school in both Electra and Wichita Falls; he graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High in 1939. That next year, on 8, he married Georgia Marie Corbett in Lawton, Oklahoma. Barely 21, Joe enlisted in the Army Air Corps on 4, 1943. He attained the rank of corporal and took part in numerous campaigns across Europe. For his service, he was awarded the Good Conduct and European -African-Middle East Theatre Service Medals, along with the American Theatre and WWII Victory Medals. He was discharged on 19, 1945. leaving the military, Joe went to work for the U.S. Government in a career that spanned 34 years. His last 29 years of civil service were spent at Sheppard Air Force Base. Also during this time he served in the Air Force Reserve where he was a Master Sergeant. From 1979 to 1982 he worked as the business manager of Maskat Shrine Temple. Joe also worked in his community. He was the assistant chairman of the Combined Federal Campaign from 1972 to 1977, Reunion Committee for the Wichita Falls High School Class of 1939 and the Oil Bowl Committee. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls where he worked as a school teacher. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Georgia. He is survived by his son Joe T. Tommy Keesee and his wife Judy; granddaughter Kari Ann Lankford and her husband John; Grandson Jeff Keesee and friend Marcy Cary and great granddaughter Tonie Lankford. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials in Joes honor be made to Maskat Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund at 5101 Henry S Grace Freeway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.
