Obituary: Gary Martin Kaase, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, was called home to Heaven on 2, 2016 at the age of 58. Gary was born at Heights Hospital in Houston, TX on 25, 1957, the first born of Martin and Josephine Kaase. He was the oldest of 4 children and learned at young age how to care for people by being the ig brother to his siblings. He started working as a young teenager at his family's trucking company. At the age of 21, he lost his father but not his love for the trucking business, and he continued to make driving semi-trailers his life work. In 2006 he realized his dream of starting his own company, Kaase Transportation. a short 2 years in business, he was involved in a severe accident while driving his semi 'Miss Sassy that destroyed the truck and nearly took his life. He recovered and went to work for his brother-in-law and sister's company, Gulf Coast Landscape Services, Inc. as their Fleet Manager, where he resumed his work in a family business until the time of his passing. At the age of 13, he met the love of his life. went separate ways in high school, only to be reunited 16 years later. This reunion began a 25 year journey filled with love. Gary realized his true purpose in life; and in doing so he was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ask for. Gary was truly meant to be a father and showed that in the remarkable relationship he had with his grandchildren; especially his granddaughter and grandson, whom he raised as his own. His love for family was unmatched and was not limited to his children and grandchildren. He had a deep love for his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews. all knew of his devotion to them and willingness to always 'be there for them', no matter the need. Everyone who knew Gary knew a man that was always willing to give to anyone in need of help. Gary freely and openly displayed his love to all of his family and friends, and rarely missed an opportunity to tell them that he loved them. He was a trusted and valued asset to family businesses early and late in his life. His life was an example of how to give of yourself and place others first, no matter what. He truly did God's work here on Earth and was loved by many people, family and friends alike. Gary is surely by God's side in Heaven, getting a well-deserved rest.
